1) clean your toilets - biweekly 2) clean your showers - biweekly 3) sweep/vacuum - sweep the kitchen/dining room a few times a week (hardwoods) 4) mop/wash floors - biweekly
1. Every other week 2. Every other week 3. Daily on lower floor. Every other week upstairs 4. Every other week
I occasionally clean the shower between cleaning person visits that are every other week but that's rare. I just don't have time anymore. It takes all the time I have to do dishes, meal prep, laundry, and vacuuming downstairs.
How often do you: 1) clean your toilets: never. I'm assuming cleaning lady does it weekly 2) clean your showers: never. I'm assuming cleaning lady does it weekly 3) sweep/vacuum: I sweep the kitchen (mostly under high chair) when there are big and visible pieces of food. Otherwise, never. 4) mop/wash floors: never. I have no idea how often cleaning lady does this
How often do you: 1) clean your toilets On average twice a month 2) clean your showers I think once a week? DH does that and I think he does it every Saturday morning after his shower. 3) sweep/vacuum We have 3 pugs (2 are ours and 1 foster) so I do this about 3-4 times a week. Sometimes it's me actually doing it other times it's me just hitting the "GO" button on the Roomba 4) mop/wash floors 1-2 times a month but I spot clean if needed if something is spilled.

Toilets weekly. Showers weekly. Sweep every day or every other day. Vacuum downstairs weekly, upstairs 2x/month. Mop every 4-6 weeks, which is not frequent enough.
Every other week for all, hired cleaning person. The only exception is selective sweeping. I will sweep the kitchen and under the dining room table myself most days, but I never, ever, ever vacuum. I'm not even sure I know how to empty my vacuum. We didn't own one before our current cleaning lady started with us two years ago. Prior to that, I just used a swiffer or a hand vac if something spilled (all hardwood floors).
1) clean your toilets - EOW, cleaning lady 2) clean your showers - EOW, cleaning lady 3) sweep/vacuum - EOW, cleaning lady and as needed (which, with a young kid who can't seem to keep ALL his food on his plate, happens every other day sometimes!) 4) mop/wash floors - EOW, cleaning lady and as needed, but usually the cleaning lady
1) clean your toilets every other week or so? Just whenever they start to look fug 2) clean your showers Yeah, we should do that. 3) sweep/vacuum we have Roombas on both floors. We vacuum the stairs about once a month. 4) mop/wash floors just before we have a party
I am dittoing @simpledog both on the you don't want to know, and on the damn I'd love to have a cleaning person. Until then (which will never happen), I do what I can. I try to hit the bathrooms each weekend, I use my dustbuster on the floors pretty much every night to get stray dog hair, food the kid dropped or threw, and random dust; and I can honestly say I've maybe twice in my life legit mopped an entire floor. Once was last fall when I spilled both a half gallon of milk and a Sonic slush in the kitchen at the same time.
1) clean your toilets - goal is every other week, in reality...sometimes a lot longer 2) clean your showers - goal is every month... 3) sweep/vacuum - the highest traffic areas get roomba-ed 1x/week, everything else as needed 4) mop/wash floors - the highest traffic areas get scooba-ed once every week or two

The only thing we really keep up on out of what you listed is vacuuming/sweeping, and that's because we have a dog that sheds like crazy. The rest of the items...we just clean when people come over. I want to blame it on the fact we have a 3 month old...but that's not a real excuse LOL
Housework non-clicky poll. Answer for how often it happens - I don't care if you or your SO do it, or if you hire it out. I just want to know timing.
How often do you: 1) clean your toilets - weekly 2) clean your showers - weekly 3) sweep/vacuum - daily (roomba) 4) mop/wash floors - as needed, at least bi-weekly, clean up spots/spills as needed (hard wood or tile throughout entire house).
1) clean your toilets--biweekly 2) clean your showers--biweekly 3) sweep/vacuum--daily, sometimes twice daily thanks to a golden retriever 4) mop/wash floors--biweekly
1, 2, and 4 are hired out. Left to my own devices, those would not be happening as frequently.
Seriously, I don't even know how to mop. Are you guys taking like buckets and an old school mop or what is happening here? (I'm serious, please explain.) My H got in a habit of doing this for a few weeks but that ended.
We just use a swiffer-like thing (dry one) on the hardwoods.
I bought an actual mop after about 8 years of marriage. We put in all new flooring when we moved in. The mop water was gross. So, I try to do it, uh, sometimes. My whole house is never all clean at once.
