Someone linked her actual Twitter (Husband 4.0 is currently using it) and it's...wow. She really thinks she's the next Rosa Parks or MLK. twitter.com/kimdavis917
Or Joan of Arc! Really?
There is a reason why the writers of the Constitution separated church and state. The lines have gotten blurred in some cases, but NOT this.
"This prick is asking for someone here to bring him to task Somebody give me some dirt on this vacuous mass so we can at last unmask him I'll pull the trigger on it, someone load the gun and cock it While we were all watching, he got Washington in his pocket."
Man, the late in life converts are always the most insufferable. See also: Saul/Paul.
I've read some interesting theories on the notion that Paul was gay. Fascinating. It resonates with me because it often seems like the most virulent and vocal opposition to gay marriage seem to get found out doing the very thing they profess to find disgusting.

I find it ironic that people like her are so anti-Muslim because they believe them to be violent and angry religious extremists who are out to strip people of basic human rights. Curious. (Sorry, I am still hung up on this).

My H and I have talked about this at length.
And it's so often true that the more recently converted, the more zealous the faith.
I got defriended and blocked over a post of mine that was in response to some asshat that was supporting her (for those who witnessed my dust up with him the last time - it's the guy who commented on my scotus ruling post to school me in the law, lol). Anyway I had unfollowed him forever ago, but a mutual friend alerted me to the fuckery he had posted. So I had no self control and responded. He blocked me! Success.
I'm really tired of people not knowing what the fuck they are talking about, and claiming this lady is in jail for her Christian beliefs.

I agree with both points and have witnessed them in action, as well. People often actively hate in others what they fear about themselves. I don't think there's any way someone could be so obsessively anti-gay without having some feelings or at least fears that they, themselves, are at least curious about those of the same sex. As someone who is prone to and has obsessive thoughts, I never obsess over things that I am completely neutral on or have no internal hangups about.
And I've seen the overly zealous attitudes of people who are new in their religious/spiritual path, even within my own circles. It's understandable and normal to an extent, because it can be such a great feeling to find your [supposed] purpose in life, but when it starts heading towards crazytown, it can get unbearable, fast.
I haven't met many in real life cause it's not my crowd, but I've also found that there's nothing worse than a 'reformed sinner' who feels the need to shit on every thing and every one from their former life (Ya hear that ANNE RICE?!). But I have been around people where the opposite is also true -- the 'reformed saint'. They're all annoying.

This is what I wrote (see attached pics):
I legit almost linked this for him. I watched it three times cracking up.
I thought these types of bible thumping Christians believe that those "heathen" Catholics are not true Christians. And dislike how Catholics have prayers for the saints. So why is her husband posting the prayer to St. Francis and comparing her to St. Joan of Arc?
