Thank you all for the kind words! I am so stressed out. J started screaming bloody murder at 10:30 pm when H's parents and sister and BIL (not the ones who had the baby) had just fallen asleep. They have been up for 24 hours straight at the hospital. After 10 minutes, we got in the car and went to a 24-hour Walmart for gas drops. He just fell asleep and we are about to drive back. I am terrified to take him out of his car seat when we get home.
awww longtimenopost. I hope your daughter has a great pre school experience.
How have you been doing with the new baby?
Thanks. Baby is great! She's a nursing champ and she sleeps all day, but the nights are tough because it's when she does all her digestive work, lol, and and she doesn't sleep as well.
It's everything else I'm struggling with! I'm just so weepy. It mostly has to do with DD and feeling anxiety/guilt.
I've shared my frustration before at the public school speech therapy process. So.many.meetings and botched communication. Like last friday his speech pathologist messing up his appointment time and blaming it on me. So today I emailed her to confirm our appointment time for tomorrow, just in case. I got a reply at 1pm saying she's leaving early to go home sick. She says she was going to call me tomorrow morning to tell me our appointment is cancelled. WTF. If you already know you're sick, don't cancel the morning-of, call me tonight. And suuuure she's "sick" the Friday of a 3-day weekend.
We just got home about an hour ago from the MN State Fair. We were there almost 9 hours with a 30 minute stroller nap for C. Amazingly, he was in such good spirits despite the lack of nap. However, he definitely threw up on himself after eating cookies and some chocolate milkshake. Moty.
I'm so tired and slightly sunburned and really wishing I had tomorrow off like H does.
We had so much fun at the fair last weekend. E and I took full advantage of the all you drink milk!

My little sister is spending the night. We have a guest room with a full bath right next to it, but she decided to change into her pj in the downstairs bathroom and leave her clothes in the kitchen table. I decided to "help" her carry her stuff to her room or I have a feeling she would have left it there.
So I managed to research my mom's "we don't have any" family back into the 1500s. Both her paternal and maternal sides showed up in America in the 1600s. LOL, GTFO with that shit mom.
It's not all positive news. They were Prohibitionists and Loyalists. But, they fought for the Union side in the Civil War, so at least we're 1 for 3. I think I'm going to map all this out and print it out for her Christmas present.
That's so weird to read, because in Canada, it's like a badge of honour to be descended from Loyalists.
Signed,
Descendent of a UEL (United Empire Loyalist)
If only my ancestor had fled a little farther than the outer reaches of New York. I could be enjoying a year of ML and universal healthcare. THANKS GRANDDAD.
