No really. If anyone has any tips/tricks/instant cures for my neck/shoulders, I will pay a million dollars I don't have. I have shit to get done and I'm stuck on the sofa in pain. I've tried Motrin 800, tiger balm, heating pad..it hurts to move. I don't think there is any damage...I just think I strained something.

Ice instead of heat? I was surprised by how effective it was, I thought it would make tension worse. Any places near you do chair massage or do you have muscle relaxants?
Typically for neck and shoulder pain I do Aleve, gentle stretching, and ice. I'll also go get a quick chair massage sometimes (they offer this in my local Whole Foods, which is amazing).
My dad sent Jehova's Witnesses to my house today. Apparently they've made videos of the Bible translated into ASL, and they are trying to connect with the deaf community to spread the message. I am hearing impaired but am definitely not fluent in ASL and don't use it unless I am connecting with a deaf person who does (where I sign like a 2yr old). My dad knows this but sent them to me anyway. WTF dad?

did you ever get that trigger ball I suggested for your foot? You can use that by putting it against a wall and rolling against it.
My neck and shoulders hurt so fucking bad. I pulled or strained something. I woke up crying a couple times in the middle of the night. There was no way I could spin this morning.

I"m super grumpy today. I'm tired, the kids won't nap for shit, and my house is a mess but I'm too lazy to clean it. That, and my B/SIL were over last night and didn't leave until 9pm. I just want a clean house and some alone time.

I'm really appreciating all of Target's liquor deals. We saved on all of H's bday party booze when that happened a mo th ago, and they still have good deals! Today I purchased some Coppola Pinot Grigio which is always hard to find for some reason, and some Prairie gin. If you like gin, it is yum. Bonus that it's organic!
OMG. The hot flashes when I was on Lupron. I called H at work one night in the middle of February and told him I want to run around the block barefoot and naked I was so hot.

I am getting hot flashes lately, and I am displeased.
The solution is clearly to come visit you and eat frosting on graham crackers.

Prarie cucumber vodka is one of my favorites.
I'm very jealous of people who can get booze at costco, target, etc.
And so begins day 2 of waiting on the ILs. I really want to just leave and say we'll meet them there, since they won't be here for at least an hour and then it is an hour to our destination. But MIL will throw a fit and probably start crying and we'll be told how mean and cruel we are and she just wants to see us.
We're selling our old fridge as I type! I made H go outside to deal with the guy who's buying it, though, because I'm paranoid. Now we just need to get rid of the washer, dryer, and futon frame and maybe our neighbors will stop hating us for storing it all in our carport.
I ended up doing the Wipeout Run yesterday in Sacramento, at the last minute. I was pretty nervous because my workouts have not been very intense lately. It ended up being a ton of fun and I did pretty good. It made me realize how much I really do miss running. I've never been interested in mud runs or anything, but that course was fun.
I'm sitting on the couch in pj's watching Supernatural today. I didn't plan on doing anything. I'm excited.
My dog got another bird this morning. I don't know if she is trying to prove something to the cat. Like, "I know I look like a dog, but I'm really one of you." Or maybe she is having a mid life crisis and is trying to prove she is still young. But seriously, I need to save the birds. I feel awful.

DH was a bouncer and "event security" in his youth. He's landed a few punches (and knee shots) and been punched. He's even been punched by a glass bottle (the main reason he's had a goatee most of his adult life--it covers some nasty scars).
Glad I didn't have any plans for this weekend besides watching tennis--my not-a-cold-damnit has my ears clogged, sinuses clogged, body temp confused, and head aching. I'm still claiming it's the late blooming ragweed.
