I don't mind it but I do think it requires a certain body shape. Which i will say you probably have. Which is not my 5 2 leftover baby belly 18 months later athletic self.

I like it but could never pull it off. It is the type of thing I see on some one else and think "how cool" as I am probably wearing something completely generic and nondescript. I like the green.
I was walking behind a lady wearing a blouse in this style, and the flap edge had gotten caught on her purse and her whole back was exposed. I debated saying anything for about a city block, until we got to corner and had to wait to cross. I thought that was my message that I should say something, so I did, and I fixed it for her and she thanked me. When we got to the next corner and had to wait for the next pedestrian light it had happened again. This time I said nothing. It seems like an ill-designed piece of clothing for actual working people who do stuff and go places and carry things.
I love it and may order it myself. But the fact that everyone is saying it's hard to pull off is making me nervous. Also, I already have two sweaters with back likes that, and I am not sure how many of these sweaters a person should own.
I feel like there is a reason the first model has her arm up to camouflage the weird shape.
I agree. It has potential to look really weird if you're standing like a normal person.
I'd also avoid it because sweater weather here also means coats are required. There's no way that would be comfortable if you're wearing a coat. I don't think that's an issue where you live, though!

If it's cold enough to wear a sweater, it's cold enough that you need your back covered. Even with a tank underneath, it just doesn't seem functional in terms of warmth.
