Just in the last week, +v+ helped me save $120 for Office for Mac. Turns out DH's job gave it to him for free! This kind of stuff evens out the extra shopping for me, or at least that's what I tell myself.
MM taught me to pick up a Short Term Disability policy for maternity lead. Turns out I'll have a paid leave (by burning all my sick time), but AFLAC pays regardless of what my employer pays. So we'll get a nice $2,500 "baby bonus" from a $50/ month premium that we've been paying since January. It turned out to be a good short-term investment!
I'm not really sure. Often, with sales and stuff, I end up spending money. But at least I get awesome deals. (I'm looking at you, $28 Talbot's pumps. And $25 Talbot's pencil skirt.) As a result, I probably look more polished at work.
The place where MM really helps me is keeping an eye on the bigger picture. Helping me stay on paying off SLs in the order that makes the most long term sense (highest interest rate first), not just what makes me feel the best right now (paying something OFF completely!). Stuff like that. Dollars saved (or growth on retirement investments) is hard to calculate.

Well, after looking at some links provided in the MM Coupons, Codes… board, I’ve gotten into shopping sales & couponing. According to my receipt, I’ve saved >$800 since May. I signed up for Mint, which made me realize how much $$ we blow at Dunkin & Subway. We’ve cut back on that significantly. There are a few bigger changes that are coming down the pike & that will save us on a larger scale.
Enough to make the decision not to leap at something without thinking. It has saved me 2k a month in daycare costs..Thanks guys for informing everyone how much a kid truly is lol
MM is how I learned about and opened a Roth IRA and how to choose how my 401k is set up. I'm not sure I've saved much money, but they've helped me make big steps forward.

I posted 'A Year in Review' last month about how much our finances have changed since I got on MM. I would say MM has saved me thousands of dollars...not exaggerating!
Because of MM, we transferred our debt to a 0% CC and paid it off aggressively. We paid off old collections that my H had on his credit and got all of his SL's out of default (which could save us thousands in the future in terms of interest rates if/when we get another car or buy a house, etc). I started contributing again to my Roth that had been languishing for several years. And most of all, I started figuring out where the hell all our money was going and started majorly reigning in our spending (which had been out of control, honestly). Prior to MM, my H and I had been relying far too heavily on a 'buy it now, figure out how to pay for it later' type of attitude.
MM honestly changed pretty much everything about how I handle finances.
MM has really helped me to focus on aggressively saving for retirement. I could never count how much money that will yield over time.
I am not one who is overly focused on the day-to-day expenses (although we are trying to cut back on discretionary spending), but in terms of developing long-term plans and goals, MM has been priceless.

I think MM has grown my income and savings more than it's actually "saved money." But, my retirement definitely wouldn't be where it is without you guys, and you also motivated me to advocate for a raise, etc.

Same here. They also helped me in paying off my cc debt quicker and make better financial decisions.
I think I've learned to manage my money better. We've gotten more serious about paying off debts and holding off on things that we don't really need. In the long term, this will save us lots of money in interest for sure.
