I usually hang out on Married Life and lurk on MM, but I need some help. We have a consignment sale coming up and I need help pricing a stroller. What would you pay for EUC BOB Revolutionary Duallie (double) stroller? This is not my stroller but I am helping price items. I looked at the completed sales on ebay and they range from $200 to $400. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
Update 9/23 - I priced it at $275 and it sold the first day to consigners/workers. I am glad it sold. I was a bit nervous as it was one of the highest strollers there this morning.
I just sold that same stroller (bought new in 2012) for $250 and was told by multiple people that that was an amazing deal. So higher than that for sure. Maybe $350?
I'd pay $350 but I would want to pay $300. But it depends on your area. Mine never had EUC doubles in that level of brands so Id pay more for one than someone with a craigslist full of them.
ETA: I'm assuming this one isn't old. If it's old then $250 tops.
$300, but honestly the last place I'd want to sell it is at a consignment sale due to the commission. I'd list on CL first.
It's not mine. I tag items for moms who are too busy and get a % of their commission. I would have sold it myself too. I had one woman bring me a Silver Cross stroller last week. This particular one runs $900 - $1200 new. Crazy.

Holy crap. Man, if I had the time I'd totally do this.

That's why I do it - lol. Some moms don't have time or don't want to deal with delivering the items to the sale. We load my trailer with all the moms stuff and drop it off. It's a nice little side business 2 - 3x a year for me.

I need to figure out how I can get into this. It takes me about 6 hours to enter/hang/tag all my stuff, which honestly, I could probably do a bit more throughout the year as DS outgrows things (well, except for entering stuff). I could easily do this with a beer, some Thursday night TV, and a kid in bed if I planned it right.

I ended up doing it by volunteering/working for several of the sales that I was selling and talking to the owner. I told her I was interested and she said she always need busy mom helpers. So I started doing it.
