I have stayed in two different hotels on opposite sides of Colorado in the last two days. Two hotels who seem to believe that up to four people staying in a hotel room would only need one caffeinated coffee pack for the single-serve coffee maker in the room.
And considering I'm driving a shit-ton on Colorado highways this week, I'm feeling totally not cool with the potential sniper activity happening along our roadways.
Aaaaand I'm spending some of the day in Aspen with my mom. It'll be a mixed bag.

This is my first month on NuvaRing and this is the week I took it out to have my period. It's awful, I had the most uncharacteristically moody and angry PMS of my life and now I can't keep my eyes open. I don't think hormonal bc is right for me.
"This prick is asking for someone here to bring him to task Somebody give me some dirt on this vacuous mass so we can at last unmask him I'll pull the trigger on it, someone load the gun and cock it While we were all watching, he got Washington in his pocket."

I have been incredibly swamped and stressed at work for the last two weeks. My boss must have noticed because there was a bottle of whiskey on my desk this morning.
I drive by our old house this morning--the one we're renting to four seniors at the university in town. There were two Audis and a souped up Wrangler in the driveway. I'm not sure how I feel about that.
Despite the holiday, this has felt like the longest week ever. We found out yesterday that H's blood thing is some weird immune response called idiopathic thrombocytopenia. He'll have to stay on steroids for a few months, but his counts have already gone up quickly from the just the few days he's been taking them. Scout's had an awful time of it and we had to have the "When do we say enough?" talk again last night. And our first marriage counseling appointment is tonight, so we'll see how that goes.
