Completely random vent: I love that people go out of their way to help others. Love it. It warms my heart. I hate it when someone goes out of their way to help someone and then has to post a HUGE thing on FB about how "I don't want any kudos for this..." but then posts the long drawn out story about how they sacrificed to help someone else and others should step up and do the same. Which is then followed by a billion "you're such a great person" comments. Why can't you just do the nice thing and know, in your heart, you did something cool without having to brag about it on FB?

Because they *are* looking for kudos. Exactly like how someone posts a pic and says "other person in this pic, you look so great so I had to post this. I look so fat. Le sigh" because they want everyone to say "person who posted this, you are SO NOT FAT. You are just gorgeous!"

I went to the chiro yesterday and he was able to adjust my neck. It felt *okay* the rest of the day. I barely slept last night and I woke up today in such intense pain. It took me 800 mg of advil, 2 rounds of icing and 1 application of biofreeze until I could move. Barely. I just want to pop some vicodin and sleeppppp.

I'm at home with a bad sinus cold. I have stabbing pain behind my eyes and coughing up a lot of mucus and my nose is a running mess.i don't know how much sleep happened last night so I might pop a benadryl and nap.

I just got to work determined to make today better than yesterday and there's something wrong with my accounting software. Literally everything I need to do today involves this program. Ugh!
On the plus side, ds brought a note home from his teacher yesterday saying that he had a super day. So that made me feel better.

starrieskies, I liked that for the good note from his teacher. Sorry about the software.
My boss just came in and told me she brought in lunch for us. She made too much food last night and brought it in today because "I thought we could eat it" I forgot my lunch today so score!
My sofa arrived early! I ran home today right after I walked in to allow the delivery guys in. I took the box back to work so when DH comes home all he will see is our slowly coming together living room!

I read this as you took the entire sofa back to work with you and was like.....what?
I have a ton of vacation time to use before the end of the year (in order to carry over the allotted amount into next year). I couldn't figure out how I still have so much but it's because the last few years I'd been traveling a ton to visit internet strangers but this year I've been grounded. Lame!!

The pics from when you came to visit me and sweetchix just popped up on my FB memories the other day. Sad face.

Time to book a vacation, or a staycation. One year I took a ton of time off around Christmas and stayed home. All I did was read and bake. It was glorious.

My supervisor was telling me to just take off and sleep in! I could, but I'd still have to get up with the kids for school.
Guess it's a good thing I don't hate what I do so I have no vacation time left!

My company has to apply for a new state contract and therefore my resume has to be submitted. They re-did my resume and sent it on to me for my approval. I told them to take my advanced degree off my name, as you can't have my level of clinical licensure without the advanced degree. He told me they did that on purpose to show the state my level of expertise. I replied that if that is the case, they should add my lower level of licensure to my name, as well. I now have 11 letters after my name. Lol.

And I had to write up a short bio, explaining why I was the schnizz-nit.
