Remind me how to deal with screaming. She's 15 months and can scream so loud and high pitched. Some times for no reason. I've tried yelling (she tells back), I ignore (she keeps doing it) and talking softly back to her that we don't do that (she continues). What am I missing? It's painful

B has gotten into this too. I think they're looking for a reaction, for one, so I try to ignore for the most part. Second, I think they're testing their vocal chords and what they're capable of, so I try to let it go. At home is one thing, but in public is much harder, I know.
I do know, though, that it's a phase, so it should go away eventually. But M likes to encourage him, too, which I try to stop. LOL
Yes the encouraging happens here too! Or often it's a response to my oldest taking something away from her so I understand that but it doesn't stop when she gets it back. Please let this phase end soon. I need headache meds and wine every night to cope
