I'm sad for this man and his family but I'm not surprised this is happening in Clatskanie.

It's frustrating to think that stories like this will stop good officers from reporting incidents to avoid backlash.

Jesus, that's scary. I'm in Houston, where the social media/news/community have been going nuts trying to outdo each other in ostentatiously showing support for all police since that officer was killed a couple weeks back. Cynical me is wondering if they would show as much support for the threatened officer in this situation.

This doesn't surprise me from Oregon given the article that was posted here a while back explained the state was formed as a whites-only refuge. That kind of racism lasts for generations.

Poor guys. Reminds me of how the union treated my family when my dad stood up to them. We went out of state for a couple weeks. Crazy.
