Trying to figure out if we're excessive and I should KonMari one of them.
We have three total sets. One set for warm weather and two sets (flannel) for cold weather. I am tempted to get rid of the plain gray flannel but not sure if that's wise.

Also, at what point do you trash (or donate to an animal shelter) blankets that have holes?
We let our dogs in bed once we're awake in the morning and they've put small (dime-sized) holes in one of our quilts. We've had it for like 5 years but I love it. Keep or try and replace?

We have two sets of plain white. I like being able to strip the bed and immediately put clean sheets back on. We have two sets for DD1's bed. And probably 5 crib sheets, but we have to send one each week for each girl to daycare.
Probably 6. But i have 3 kids that like to all get stomach bugs at the same time and a pukey cat. I have used 4 sets of sheets in one horrible night. Without puking kids 2-3 seems normal to me.
(I know not all kids puke as often as mine do, but mine are pukers that have never been sick in their own beds, not once! They save it for me.)
We have two sets of sheets for our bed, and one duvet. We actually have never used the second set (we just wash and put the clean sheets right back on).
We have maybe 3 sheets for C's crib, but could get away with 2.
All 3 guest beds are queens, and we have 4 total sets of guest sheets (all are white/cream so they are interchangeable). We were completely overrun with spare sheets and did a major purge when we moved. There is no reason to have two (or more!) sets for each bed.
Currently one that we actually use (wash and put back in the same day), and an old set that is a total backup. I wish I had two so I wouldn't have to rush to wash and dry our one set before bedtime.

I think we have 5 sets of sheets that we rotate through for both our bed and the guest bed. I could definitely get rid of at least one set, maybe two. And linens are coming up on my list of what to KonMari, too, so I probably will get rid of some.
