What color purse do you carry in the fall/winter?

I bought a bright blue nylon Dooney that I loved for summer but now that it's in the 60s here it totally clashes with my reddish orange fall coat. Plus my winter coat is burgundy. I'm bored with black but maybe that's what I should get...

I had an awesome dark purple one a few years ago. I loved it, but it was a cheapy from Kohls and didn't last long.

I have a black Kate Spade one and a brown Micahel Kors that I wear now. I have a gray winter coat and a dressy red winter coat that I use sometimes

That strap is too short for me. I think it would be irritating.

I've had it for two weeks and LOVE it. It's a perfect size and looks really high quality. Grey would be a nice non-black neutral for fall/winter.

It looks like the one you posted has a handle drop two inches shorter than the one I posted. What am I missing?

FWIW I've had my J. Crew bag for eight years and it's held up well (but I don't use it super often).

I don't remember the last time I shopped at J Crew. Do they have bags in store?

Before kids it was a pretty purple with gold hardware. Now I just use a black clutch all year.

I have a navy leather Dooney that I love. If I had a job, I might get a dark purple or burgundy one for Fall.

My coats are black and winter white, so I like having some color.

Team @this. One bag 365 days a year because I hate to swap out my bag and I've ended up hauling straw or white leather as late as Thanksgiving.

It says it's cognac, but it's really a luggage tan with real (as opposed to shiny) brass .Some old design lady once told me if you match your bag to your hair color it will coordinate with whatever you pick to wear.

I switch around a lot, but I have a smaller black purse, a large tan (secondhand) Chloe that goes with most things, and a brown leather diaper bag. I am on the hunt for a light gray bag too.

I look terrible in the rust and mustard colors I'm seeing for fall.

Fall I go back and forth between a Burberry plaid and a griege MBMJ. My summer bags are more "fun". I am eyeing a yellow jcrew cross body for fall though to mix things up.

Jcrew has bags in store at the one near me. I have a kelly green quilted leather tote I have had for maybe 8 years that still looks great. I like their bags and they aren't too expensive at all!

I also use the same purse year-round. For the last few years it was a brown/red Coach that actually worked o.k. all year, but I got a teal one this summer that I love but which, admittedly, probably won't look the greatest in winter. I'm not getting another one, though, since this one's pretty new and I love it.

I have a bronze colored one with a deep purple flower on it I had been using.
I just switched out for a brown one with a buckle for a wedding yesterday so I'll use that awhile.

I also have a silver one with a bow I pull out more towards Thanksgiving/holidays.

I also have a burlap look one I used to love but it's too small for the kid's crap and mine ATM.
