DD has been a nightmare today. Long periods of screaming inconsolably. I have no idea why. And of course DH is working today. I'm going to need a beer or three when she goes to bed.
I seriously wish I could put an ad on CL: "college student wanting easy money? Come sit at my house all day on a weekday and do laundry. Eat all you want and nap on the couch between loads."

I'd seriously pay like $10 an hour for that.
I don't mind doing it. Putting it away is what I hate.
I went with DH to an outdoor mall this morning and fawned over the fall clothes that won't fit me.
On the way home we got ingredients for stuffed shells and I made an aggressive amount. I wanted to make one pan to cook and one to freeze and ended up with three to freeze. There is literally no room for anything else in our freezer. Not one more ice cube.
I am having mild contractions but there is no pattern and they aren't getting stronger.

At the water park, which is relatively empty. Thank goodness. H is in the wave pool with the kids while I enjoy the R City and Adam Levine song aka "Mommy's song."
My kid tried eating cat food today. He didn't like it, but kept trying to eat it. He loves the kitty and wants to be just like her. I'm really grossed out.
H is watching football and I'm getting ready to feed the kids dinner. K only took one nap today so I hope she still sleeps well tonight. She's doing OK, but is usually a mess on a one nap day.

I feel like a college student would jump at that opportunity. The year after I graduated, I substitute taught, and was always looking for odd jobs on my off days.
@kcpokergal and I signed up for a Sunday yoga class but we are both missing the first one today, oops!
I am starting old lady water aerobics this week though while DD is at preschool.
After 7 straight days together dh and I definitely need some space!
Ooo what kind of yoga? And it may be "old lady" but water aerobics can be a good workout!
it is actually an "intro to yoga" class, 6 weeks long. Then we'll know more than nothing about yoga and not be intimidated to go to the classes at the gym regularly
I have no idea if we should throw in the towel on potty training or keep going (see my critique my potty training post) and I'm overly emotional about all the issues I'm having with my postpartum body and breastfeeding. Wine is in order tonight for sure.
I just paid to have a small cheese pizza delivered to my house. I think I paid extra because it was below the minimum for delivery, but I just can't give a shit. It's just me & DS. We've been solo for most of the weekend. The thought of cooking (even an easy meal) again makes me want to cry and leaving the house sounds even worse.
Also, we've watched a lot of Disney movies on ABC family this weekend. I'm just too tired this weekend. I imagine it will get worse in the next 9ish weeks before I have this kid?
I think after I workout tomorrow I'm going to go to get a pedicure and if I have time, the mall. I love preschool.
Miss America is on tonight!! I can't wait, I think CO actually has a chance this year. Her talent was a monologue talking about what it's like to be a nurse and it's gotten national attention.
Today in toddler conversations. "Let's pretend we're riding in the stroller. What do you see?" "Chocolate!" "Oh? Where's the chocolate?" "In the grassy area!" "What's the chocolate doing?" "Spitting out water!"
Yesterday I met friends at a museum, and on my way in I got caught in the rain. I cleaned myself up -- I thought -- but discovered I had a streak of liner/mascara smudge under one eye... 4 hours later when we went out to eat after. No one told me!
I'm watching project runway episodes on my Roku and holding DD while she sleeps on my lap. I've taken about 20 pictures of her sleeping.
DD's wearing adorable printed joggers/hammer pants, and they have pockets. Why would infant pants need pockets? Not even patch pockets that would be for style purposes, but in-seam pockets you can't see but they're there anyway.

Omg. DS is 6 days away from 4 months old. He has never been a great sleeper...was waking 2-3 times a night, a few days ago he added in another wake up at 11pm whatever. Annoying but liveable.
Tonight he refuses to sleep anywhere but my arms. He has fallen asleep in my arms 4 times now and every time I put him down he cries within 5 minutes. FML.

My child is a gremlin today. No nap. She's insane. Save me.
I'm counting down to bedtime. And then I will eat crinkle fries and chicken flavored ramen because I'm nauseous and that's all that sounds good. Don't judge me.
I'm kind of annoyed that the boys don't have school tomorrow or Tuesday after having two days off for Labor Day. They'll have five days off total in September, which seems excessive to me.
Went to Kohl's and got tons of clearance maternity clothes. All will work for fall and winter too because besides the tank everything is long sleeve. I got 2 jeans 1 pair leggings 1 yoga pants 2 blouses 1 tunic 1 tank top

All for $58!!
I wore my old maternity jeans today- flares, of course. They looked terribly frumpy on me and took them off for yoga pants. I'll have to check out Kohl's if my Old Navy skinny jeans don't fit. Luckily I got a crap ton of maternity clothes passed down to me, but all of the pants are ugly or outdated.
