Hmmm I don't know that I agree that both sides believe it is un-American for inheritance to have a roll. I think instead people, especially politicians, have convinced themselves that all they have is through hard work. And that could not be further from the truth. If we thought it was patently unfair we wouldn't have nepotism policies in place.
