Burritos usually.
But some tacos surpass burritos. Crunchy taco shells are a no-go because I have been stabbed in the mouth by too many - murderous fuckers. Soft tacos might be better if it is a corn tortilla with delicious contents like goat meat or pickled onions.
I cannot tell you how delighted I am to see that ML is as invested in this topic as my brother and I were yesterday (so much so that he is still texting me today to argue his side).
I am pro-tacos.
He is pro-burritos.
His pro-burrito points: More carbs (higher tortilla ratio, inclusion of rice, etc. -- this is a pro for him because he loves carbs, LOL) Generally larger, so no need to think about more than one item Better fit in the hand and less mess (provided it is not a knife-and-fork and/or wet burrito)
My pro-taco points: Fewer carbs/less filler (I don't need to waste my time on rice, beans, or excess tortilla) Potential for greater variety in meal (because you can get three different tacos instead of one burrito) Can opt for hard shell, corn tortilla, or flour tortilla Less muddling of flavors

I have to pick burritos because California burritos are my favorite food on the planet. That's a burrito with carne asada and French fries for you non-SoCal folks. No beans or rice taking up unnecessary space.

You can put whatever you want in either. I like burritos because I like my food all mixed up in a perfect mixture of flavors. I also love bowls and casserole, and multi-ingredient dips. I like to have my black beans, rice, sour cream, queso, and quac alllllll inside ONE tortilla and in my mouth.
Off topic: miso, I stared Modern Romance. Loving it--just started the section about grammar and spelling!
Three years ago, during my brother's small birthday dinner, he asked my husband and me so much about our relationship. At the time, we felt really happy because we thought he was very invested in getting to know us.

Now we know the real reason.
LOL.
Too funny. Did you recognize yourselves in the book?
