First, if she wanted to help you with the favor, she could have just asked. "great idea! I have an idea for something to add to it, what do you think about X." Then you could have said "no, we want to keep it simple" or "sounds great, lets do that too." She designed this so that she was going over your head and you wouldn't be able to stop her.
Also, the "brightening the sprinkle" sign doesn't make a lot of sense without seeing the candles. I mean its still a cute saying, but its seeing the saying next to the candles with the sprinkles that's so cute.
This is why I hate group projects in any form.
Agreed your way is better b/c it actually makes sense!!!
How annoying. I hate the over the top gift person! My SIL's bachelorette was just me and her BFF. We did a weekend at a hotel near where I live but we are poor so this still stretched my thin budget. We did a lingerie shower type thing and I had one nice like $50 VS nightie. Her BFF had like 3 of them plus sexy undies plus all this body paint and "sexy" type gifts. I just sat there trying not to roll my eyes into my head.
So, If I just showed up and saw the favors like that I would think they were really cute.
But nothing makes me crazier than doing all the work for something then someone coming in at the last minute trying to redo everything. Reply to your goddamn emails in a timely fashion if you have an opinion!
I think Pinterest has just made people insane though. I just went to bachelorette party that was clearly more about taking pictures of it than actually having a good time. We couldn't eat snacks Friday because they want to take pictures of them Sat night.
