xp: twin moms- first birthday presents?

My BFF's babies are turning one this weekend and I am a huge slacker and need to get them a gift.

As they get older I will for sure do separate gifts based on their individual interests, but for this birthday I want to do a joint present. Any ideas?? They are boy/girl twins and my friend loves matching outfits and other twin stuff.

Maybe a family membership or GC to some sort of zoo, museum or activity?

Since the mom is a fan, I think a matching outfit would be good. Those aren't the easiest to find with boy-girl twins. At 1y my twins were ok with getting completely different gifts. Gift jealousy didn't kick in until later. I remember my kids loving Little People and the fisher price gumball machine. Whatever normal 1y old gifts are I think would be fine.

There are some cool twin pool floaties, if you want to get a twin-specific gift. I have also seen twin push chairs/trikes but I have no idea where they are sold in the states and are probably expensive.

Other than matching/coordinating outfits not too much stuff is different for twins by one. I agree that B/G twin coordinating is so cute and also not always easy to do, so since your friend likes it I'd probably do outfits if you can find something good.
