I think I'm on wake up #3. DS is still gassy but at least not enough to fill my bedroom with noxious fumes.
I'm stewing over his tongue tie revision we had done yesterday. She didn't clip it enough! It's still going heart shaped when he sticks it out. I'm so annoyed. DS1 was tongue tied (hidden) and it nearly destroyed my milk supply and caused weight gain issues. I learned to diagnose it myself so I wouldn't have to do that again and here I sit doing compressions while DS2 nurses to make sure he gets enough to eat with cracked, bleeding nipples. Freaking...
I haven't had the night sweats this time and it is really weird to me. I had them so bad last time.
I've been having DH help with middle of the night diaper changes while I have to use Vaseline on his circ because it is way easier to have more hands, but he is such a zombie in the middle of the night. With our first he helped me in the middle of the night forever because we both worked full time, so I thought that was fair and I don't remember him being this hard to wake up. Now this I stay at home I try not to wake him up for no reason. Someone needs to have energy to get up with the toddler in the morning.
I'm totally rambling because I don't want to fall asleep until he is done feeding.
I can't get a picture to upload, but my kids are 1/4 Filipino, so I wanted to join the party.
Wakeup #4. Omg, DS had been waking up every 2 hours since 11pm. I just watched him wake himself up from squirming around in bed. I think a magic sleep suit is in my future.
My 17 month old was up twice MOTN and up for the day at 4:47. My kid is way too old for me to still be in these threads.
Hugs! I was hoping you had turned a corner.
Dd is asleep but I have such bad insomnia that I have been up since 3. It's been happening every night this week, so annoying
I thought we were turning a corner. Since we've been in the new house he's mostly STTN but still waking really early. Not sure what happened last night. Both times I gave him a sippy of water, he chugged it, and went back to sleep. I went out yesterday afternoon/evening so H did dinner, bath, bed on his own and L was crying for me quite a bit. Maybe he was just checking to make sure I was home? Who knows?

Wake-up 2. Wow, 3 hours sleep stretch! She really does sleep better after a bath. If I can squeeze another hour out before DD wakes up that'll put me at 5. Not too bad!
Thankfully after my panicked post, DD stayed asleep after the 4th nursing session around 11:30 and just woke now at 4:30. But guys she is AWAKE. like chattering and whatnot. I put her down and walked away. Need to pump the right side. awkwardpenguin so cute. Did she sleep better?
She didn't sleep better but she didn't sleep worse. She did seem a little easier to settle at each wake up.
Glad you got a five hour stretch but sorry she's awake awake! Babies man.

DH just have DD back to me after sleeping with her for almost 2 hours because I was losing it. When I woke him up he said the boys had already been up and came into our room at some point.
I thought by me sleeping the nursery DH would get to sleep more, but he says that about every other night one or both boys wake him up for some reason. DS1 has had a few accidents and I don't know what other reasons they have. I think maybe they just miss him and probably me too and are making up for their lost attention at night. Even though they seem pretty unphased by adding a baby to the mix I'm sure it's throwing them off and they don't even realize it.
