I've been told in the past that it's OK if it's brown blood. But really, I call about anything. Anything. And each time I mention I'm calling about a dumb question, the nurses tell me that's what they're there for and they prefer that I call if I'm at all unsure.
They'll likely ask if you've been more active in the last few days or if you had sex recently. They'll ask if you feel regular movements at this point. Let them determine if you should come in, or what else to be on the look for.
Brown is ok. Call your doctor just to make sure. No cramping or anything?
Not really, I don't think? I walked a little more than normal yesterday and felt kind of sore in my very low belly, but not necessarily crampy. Baby is still moving.
Did you have a bowel movement right before you saw the blood? I spotted after every bowel movement my entire pregnancy with DD2. My doctor checked just to confirm there was nothing going on, but ultimately decided my cervix was easily irritated.
I called and spoke to a triage nurse. She wasn't concerned based on what I described and basically told me to monitor it and call if it changes and doesn't go away. I called H before the doctor's office and was like, "Do you remember when we had sex last? Because I think they're going to ask me when I call." Lol
