MH is in a wedding in September that is happening very quickly.
The bride emailed all the invites and said the ceremony is casual, so dress accordingly. Well MH went for his fitting and the groomsmen are wearing a dress shirt, vest, suspenders and jeans. I have no idea what the bridesmaids are wearing.
What should I wear as a guest? I only have dresses that would not be considered casual, and I would feel weird wearing jeans. Any suggestions?

Our wedding was casual. Some of DH's cousins showed up in wranglers/boots. I think dress pants would be okay, a cute summer dress.. I'm all for casual, dressing up is not my idea of a good time.

skirt/blouse combo if you have something like that. Otherwise just pick a simple dress you already have and it will be okay if you are little more dressy than others, usually at casual weddings they have a mix of those dressed up and those casual.
This is what I am thinking. Considering the severe lack of good shopping in my area, it also makes me sad to think this. Ha! Why couldn't they have done this before Las Vegas where there is good shopping!?

I had a casual reception months after my real wedding and a lot of guys wore khakis. A lot of the women wore casual dresses or even skirts with a basic top. Like this if you have anything similar:

I went to a casual wedding where even the bride was wearing jeans. I wore a simple maxi dress, no jewelry, and flat sandals. It was pretty appropriate, and I could still play horseshoes.
