I work at a nonprofit in the health industry.

At a conference session on the ACA the presenter told a story about how a local hospital CEO made his wellness team cut in half the number of flu shot clinics they would provide this fall. His sad, but mathematically realistic reasoning was that he needed insured people to fill his hospital beds (i.e. get sick) to fund the uninsured and under-insured filling up his ER.

It has an urban-legendy feel to it. But, at the same time, I wouldn't be completely shocked if it is true.
