I am anti decorations this early, but I am all about early gift shopping to cut one more thing out of December.

The sign up deadline moved up by a whole month! I kind of wanted to participate this year but I am so not ready to think about Christmas. Hell, I'm not even ready to think about Halloween.

I like to be done shopping by Thanksgiving. In previous years this hasn't happened this year I hope to get a lot done I. The next 2 months.

Hey names are being drawn later than last year! A lot of people wanted to be able to know what their person wanted BEFORE Black Friday. Plus that's just one less thing to do/gift to buy during the mad rush between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Black Friday is two months away.

hahaha. Gifts are so so so not my love language. Mine is like the opposite of gifts. I am the black hole of the gifts love language. If you put me and pugz together in a room the world would implode.

But anyway yeah, I don't do the Secret Santa. Y'all can organize it in July for all I care.

I am a type A budgeter and shopper. I start shopping for family/friends really early so this just gives me more time. You don't *have* to shop early

I used to love giving gifts. Thinking of the perfect thing and then watching the person open it with a smile.
Now I find shopping so annoying. It's crowded, I don't even know what I want let alone other people. Then you end up being overbooked at Xmas and you exchange gifts in the parking lot at dancing class because you can't get together.

Even with family, we have started secret Santa so we only have to buy one gift and it's still a hassle.

Basically I love Xmas. But there are too many obstacles for my enjoyment.
So no secret Santa. Sorry patbutcher

I think I'm going to sit out this year. With all the stress of moving and building, plus being in an apt, we're trying to keep the holidays low key.
