I was in bed last night at 8:45! Didn't go to sleep until about 10 but it was still glorious. I was so exhausted from being out all day and generally being sleep deprived and it felt great to go to bed early.
I'm taking DD to craniosacral therapy today. Anyone have experience with that to help with a shallow latch?
I have no experience with that, but I hope it goes well!
DD2 crawled yesterday. Now she's flipping out trying to do it again and spending a lot of time flailing around on the floor. She looks funny doing it because she is so tiny and gangly.
DS almost slept through the night. He woke at 5 am to eat, after I nursed him to bed at 10 pm. If I were already back to work, I would have been up for the day.

DS ate applesauce this morning and spilled all over. I used a wet paper towel to wipe it up which left little paper towel crusties all over him. Just realized they are all over my nice black dress too. Love looking like something the cat dragged in on a Monday morning.
Hanging out here gives me a false sense of breeziness. Then yesterday I spent several hours with truly breezy moms, who kept looking at me like the crazy uptight helicopter tiger mom, and I was reminded how this board is not a normal benchmark, lol
Ds seems like he's getting potty training! Saturday he had 4 accidents and went 4 times in the toilet. Yesterday only 1/2 an accident and he started telling us when he had to go. This morning his diaper was barely wet and he called for me to tell me he had to pee.
I'm shocked. We'll see how today goes. I'm nervous to take him anywhere still though so we will stay close to home for a few more days.
P was up at midnight, 3, 4, and 6 am. I let her fuss/whine herself back to sleep at midnight and 6am. At 3 I got up and fed her, but she was up again shortly after and I figured she was probably in teething pain. The tylenol seemed to help, maybe, but I don't see a tooth coming through but could feel a 'bulge' on one side of the top gums so maybe. Poor thing. Poor mom.

DS would probably STTN if I let him. He is only 2 weeks and the doctors tell me not to let him get too long between Feedings.
Not going to lie though. I want a solid 6 hours.
It's kind of crappy that I am feeling comfortable in my bed again and not allowed to use it.
Mood wise. I am doing a little better. I get emotional when DH leaves. And jealous. But we're surviving. I went to target to get out. That was awesome.
I just cheered audibly when H texted to report that the doctor confirmed Q has an EI. Last night was so, so bad. I think we slept for a combined 2.5 hours maybe? Q gave R her cold and she was so stuffy and miserable.
I need to figure out foods I can eat with braces because I am starving. I'm hoping the slow cooker thread helps.
I just called and scheduled my foster's euthanasia appointment. Holy hell that was hard. I could barely get the words out. Now because of grad school, DD's activities and DH being out of town I have to wait a few days until I can get in for the appointment. Ugh this week sucks already.
Moving and packing suck. We are in the process of unpacking and it is going so slowly.
Yes, this is where we are too. Also every time I can't find something, I have to think about whether or not I threw it out in the last frenzied days of packing. Or put sweaters in a box labeled "tax books", for example.
Question - did you keep all your accounting / cpa exam prep stuff? H is insisting on keeping all that stuff. All the way back to undergrad. Whatever, dude. Have fun lugging that 200 lb box around.
I'm tired from our weekend, we went apple picking yesterday and it was hard work pushing the stroller up and down the hill and through the orchards. We've also hit the stage where the kids get into everything.
DD was coughing a lot last night, but DD said she seemed better this morning so I'm hoping she does ok at day care today.

I know!! The playground near my house is full of German and Nordic families. I am surprised they don't have their kids playing with fire and knives. I am exaggerating but it is interesting to see the big difference in cultures.

I booked a Disney cruise yesterday. I am cautiously excited. Last year we had to cancel the morning of the cruise because we all came down with the flu. Travel insurance is so important!!

Lol nope! I got rid of all uni books either years ago or with this move. And the CPA prep stuff got tossed as soon as I qualified, haha. I did take an extra tax course (3 levels) after I got my CPA and I've kept all those materials because they're a good reference. My H has a small box of university stuff and I mock him endlessly because no one needs to refer to his Slavic history essays lol.
lol at mr. Vicmo! I didn't know if book hoarding was a cpa thing. He tends to the hoarder side of the spectrum anyways.

We had family helping us finish up the packing so some things are not labeled well. It is a it of a mess.

They must be conspiring long distance. P was up from 11:30-1 and then 3:15-4:30 last night.
He definitely has his top four teeth cutting though, but still. Dude.
My mom got DS 6 new vtech animals & cars that talk (they're like the size of your fist) and he LOVES them. Super annoying but they've kept him occupied for 40minutes.
