Toddler peeing thru night diapers - help!

DS is 2, and lately has been peeing through his diapers almost every night. As of his well visit 2 months ago, he was 31 lbs. He wears pampers size 5 during the day and pampers baby dry size 6 over night. We've tried putting on his diaper looser and also tighter but the pee still happens. He doesn't get milk or water right before bed either. Any ideas?

What about using night time diapers? They are super absorbent.

We've been experiencing the same problem. Size 5 Huggies overnights were amazing. Now, constant overflow. Bought 6s and... still overflowing.

Try Huggies Overnites in the purple box in a size up.

Those are the only ones that work for our son.

Thanks everyone! Clearly pampers overnight isn't working but we'll try huggies or good nites. Not that I really need an excuse to hit target.

Pampers makes overnights too, baby dry extra protection, in a purple box. That's what we use and have had good luck.

We've used the liners @mrswindycity suggests and had reasonable success. I'm about to order them again because I am tired of changing sheets every single morning - I can't believe how much he pees at night! We're using a size 6 Huggies Overnight diaper and still having constant leakage.

I can't easily link right now, but the maxipad-like boosters mentioned above have totally fixed this issue for us. I got 90 for $15 on amazon and we haven't had a single issue since. Search "diaper booster", the ones I got were the top result, white package with a duck on it but I forget the brand. DS is about 29 lbs and we use Huggies overnights size 5 plus the booster. He peed through every night for like two weeks and we haven't had any issues since we started using the boosters.

We used to use Pampers Baby Dry overnight (even though they are technically not an overnight diaper) and had some leaking problems. Switched to Huggies overnight and haven't had a leak yet.
