I just word vomited in the elevator and told this woman I work with that we are both always in the elevator together at 9:15 (late to work) because "we both can't get our act together in the morning." Now I feel bad. She can't put her kid on the bus until 8:45. Oops.
It's okay. This can be the random people you see every morning thread.
I would have said something similar to the woman in the elevator and then felt bad also.
@tokenhoser, I changed the direction I travel in the morning. The older men I used to pass every morning were worried when they didn't see me anymore (they told me this when we walked by on a Saturday)
Ha. There was a guy who used to always be at our bus stop who wore a stupid hat (but actually ended up being really nice and always said hello). We called him asshat privately. Sorry dude.
Every day on my way to work I see the same car that has a vinyl decal on the back advertising their Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and "knifesports" academy.
On my way home I usually see a huge ass van with a BYU sticker next to a "My Zombie Family Ate your Stick Family" bumper sticker with a mom zombie, a dad zombie, and like 7 zombie kids.
I am also fairly sure I see the same drug dealer every day in the same location, but he could just be exchanging covert handshakes with lots of people. Hard to say.
I used to see a woman on my commute all the time, her vanity plate made it easy to identify her. Seriously for 6+ years I'd see her at least 2-3x a week. The last time I saw her, same vanity plate, newer (nicer) car. I thought "Good for you LadySS". Never saw her again.

I take the train every morning and usually run into the same people on my train day in/day out. Every now and then I'll run into some I know ... always entertaining.
Eta - I used to commute down 680 towards SanJose and I'd always see this black Maserati ... I always wondered who the hell was driving it and why ?!? on the freeway during commute times ?!?

There's a woman at my gym that I see at the childcare area several times a week. I swear we went to the same high school? I don't remember her name and I think she was several years behind me. But I definitely recognize her.
I think I may even have one of her prom photos somewhere because she went with a friend of mine when I was a senior and she was a freshman. One of these days I'll actually mention it to her (maybe).
One of my coworkers takes a very similar route into the office from across town. She has scolded me before for speeding. She retires at the end of October and I'm sort of looking forward to never feeling guilty about passing her on the road. Ha.
There's a group of three elderly men that meet at the intersection where DD's daycare is every morning for a walk. I always worry when I only see two of them. They are really cute in their high water jean shorts and button up shirts off on their daily walk.
I'm on a first name basis with a woman who works at the Dunkin Donuts near me.
I'm on a first name basis with at least one employee at every place we go. Part of living in a small town. Panera, chipotle, Chick-Fil-A, Starbucks, kids resale shop, Irish pub, and smoothie place.
I have seen one person more than once in the morning. It's a blueish-purple color older Toyota 4-Runner.
He was going slow one morning in the slow lane, so I went around him. He got some attitude with that, so when I had gone around him and went back in the slow lane, he stepped on it, passed me and then got right back in front of me. So that move of his, mixed with his rare paint color has caught my eye on the same stretch of highway. We always get off at the same exit and he goes on towards the highschool.
