You can technically give Tylenol whenever I believe, it is a different medication so it can even be administered together. That being said, I usually offset them by at least 2 hours, usually 3

I do one every 3ish hours to make dosing easy. Offsetting by 3 hours means you can hit the end of the 4-6 hour range for Tylenol and the start of the 6-8 hour range of ibuprofen, so one is always still active while the other is wearing off.

Right - that's by I usually do 3 hours, because of the timing for Motrin.

You can give Tylenol and Advil simultaneously. You just have to keep track of when you gave the doses do you don't accidentally give the next one too early. Tylenol is every 4 hours, Advil is every 6. I also usually do the first dose of Tylenol halfway through the Advil time frame, as others have mentioned above.
