Nursing only morning and night questions

Dd turns one tomorrow

I'm pumping 1x a day but I will quit that this week. I will want to nurse morning and night during the week and weekends on demand. My question is that more often that not I leave before she wakes up. Sometimes she will wake up before I go and I will nurse. The days that she sleeps I have been pumping in the morning and DH will give her a bottle. I'm thinking I should continue that right? I want to be done with the pump so bad but I don't want to drop the morning session during the week if on the weekends she wants it.

I think you might be uncomfortable if you are used to nursing at least 3 times a day and suddenly drop to once. For now I would drop the mid day pump and then pump in the morning if you don't nurse. After your body adjusts you should be able to just nurse as you want. For me as my kids get older I can skip whole days and still nurse as I want.

I probably would not pump during the week. DS nurses more on weekends then he does during the week, it has never been a problem for me.

I'd probably just wake her and nurse. Otherwise, yes, I guess I'd pump and leave that morning bottle. At least for the next month while your body adapts.
