She's really into making cards for people (and mailing them). She likes doing workbooks (ie., tracing letters or connect the dots). She still loves her trampoline, and likes to make obstacle courses and then tries to make us do them.
Those little "blind bag" minions you get at Walgreens etc, Play doh, Kinetic Sand, anything Avengers, and he is really into games like Operation or Chutes and Ladders.

Legos, magformers, soccer balls, board games (he LOVES the Scooby Doo game and it's not bad for adults either), lots of artwork, cars (especially emergency vehicles), toy guitar, binoculars, astronaut suit.

Swords, dolls (Barbie, Equestria Girls, Monster High), painting/coloring/crafts, dress up, baby dolls, MLP, legos, Zingo, my husband's old Star Wars toys. We've had Kiwi Crate for two months, and it's been fantastic for arts and crafts.

Yes, older kid ones. DD can't assemble them herself; DH assembles them and she plays with them. She assembles her Duplos, though-- she's just more interested in the big kid Legos.
When you all say legos, do you mean real legos? Like the older kid ones?
We have Lego Juniors sets - small Legos but less pieces and therefore easier to put together. DS also is playing with tubs of regular blocks that were DH's.
Art stuff/crafty things Dolls playing doctor/other imaginative stuff but dr. especially. Outside. Swinging, balls, bike. Her Power Wheels tractor mini machinery/cars She still likes to play kitchen Blocks of any sort. She prefers the wood ones over legos (unless H is around) still..but will take any. Books dressing herself/being a "big" helper She likes the Little People still and I plan to get her more for Christmas Play Doh/Sand
PreK things: workbooks, stickers, those make a face pages PP suggested. Etc.
She likes Endless Alphabet, Endless Numbers and Endless Reader apps
magna tiles playdoh numbers any sort of " guys" he can make a castle for using magna tiles coloring writing on his chalk board ( his name, STOP, GO, EXIT, numbers) helping in the kitchen
Mine's only 3.5 but likes most of the above things listed. I just got him a firehouse off a local mom that he's now obsessed with! He also loves his Batman Duplos (but more so the characters than the actual Legos) so I think I might get him the Imaginext stuff for Christmas.
Anything Paw Patrol is a huge hit too. He's going to be one for Halloween!
And also his tablet. We put a timer on it because otherwise he'd be on it all day ;-)

DS will be 4 in less than 8 weeks. He loves jigsaw puzzles (24-piece ones). He also loves Duplo and regular Lego blocks. He's still into Thomas. He's getting more into Matchbox cars, though.
He likes coloring (on paper or in coloring books), stickers, and his art easel.
He loves playing pretend with his play kitchen and Melissa and Doug food. He also has dress-up costumes (doctor and police officer).
He likes to ride his trike or his scooter, or play catch with a ball or frisbee. He just started learning soccer, too, and likes to kick the ball at the park with us.
Craft stuff: foam stickers, washi tape (he LOVES tape), glitter gluestick, scissors, etc. Tablet: we have a cheapy and he gets to play on it at certain times: www.walmart.com/ip/RCA-7-Tablet-8GB-Quad-Core/38693696 . We've had it since Christmas and it's working great. And for $40, it's cheaper than a "toy" one GoNoodle website (exercise videos) Transformers (there are some really easy ones he can do himself, and then some slightly harder ones DH has to help with)
My daughter turns 4 in October. Her big request is a Doc McStuffins doctor kit.
As for things she currently plays with: both kids play with legos and duplos a lot. She also loves cutting paper with scissors and using markers/crayons/Do-a-Dots.
She likes playing school and beating up her brother.

Rescue Bots are the #1 hit around here. Then probably his large construction trucks or hot wheels and hot wheels tracks. Also loves board games (Sneaky Snacky Squirrel, Curious George Beach game, Goodnight Moon game, etc.). If we give him a measuring tape, he can entertain himself for hours. :-)

I hope she gets it. We have the same one and DD spends hours giving her dolls, her stuffed animals and her family members checkup. It's definitely our most played with toy and not all that spendy for hours of fun.
My Little Ponies, kidkraft dollhouse, play kitchen, assorted board games, playdoh. We got a paint spinner set for her birthday which we'll break otu this weekend. We just opened the Color wonder finger paints which are pretty neat.
She also loves duplos and megablocks still. She got one set of Lego Jrs for her birthday which we opened and put together the other night after her sister was in bed, but holy small pieces - I'm not comfortable with those being accessible with the toddler around yet.
I'm getting a set of magnatiles or magformers bc she loves those at school.

DD is almost four. Those magiclip princess dolls have been a hit (particularly the set from Costco that someone mentioned on here). Side note: those were the trick in getting her to FINALLY drop the nighttime pacifier. Each night without it = new doll in the morning. So THANK YOU to whoever posted about those!
She also has a Playmobil house from last Christmas that she's starting to play with more and more.

I honestly don't know why I buy my kid toys. He plays with Play Doh, and random household objects like buckets, pencils, measuring cups and spoons, toothbrush holders - basically he loves containers.
