I feel like I could vacuum daily. Every time I vacuum it picks up so much hair and dust that I am just grossed out. We do have a dog, but she's little. We take our shoes off at the door. I don't know how else to prevent my floors from getting gross. Currently I vacuum twice a week, but it seems to need it more often.
Oh, it was a serious question. O.k., ummm.......maybe once a month? We have carpet up and down, but our main floor has only hardwood/tile, which I swiff about once a week.
We have no pets and all shoes come off at the door. The only thing that really makes a "mess" on the floor is crumbs around the kitchen table, which I have a mini dustbuster for.
We don't have carpet, just a few area rugs. We have a dog that sheds. I sweep or use the stick vac almost daily in the entryway, kitchen, and playroom. I vacuum the living room three times a week. Upstairs gets swept/vacuumed once a week (ish.) Usually less.
ETA: If it weren't for the dog, I would vacuum a lot less.
I vacuum the living room and dining room most nights. Maybe skip once a week. We have hardwoods with area rugs in those room. The rest of the house, far less. Every few weeks? Once a month even.
Most every night in the living room and through the entryway and kitchen. I have a Dyson all floors so going from carpet to tile is not an issue. I feel like I could multiple times a day though. 2 little dogs, gravel road, harvest, husband going in and out with his work boots, and 2 toddlers that go in and out all day results in a lot of dirt.
Maybe once every 2 weeks. Up and down are carpet and the main floor and playroom are hardwood. I sweep the hardwood in the kitchen, dining area and front hall every night. And mop that area once a week maybe.
We have all carpet upstairs, but it's mostly bedrooms. Up there gets vacuumed every 2 weeks. Downstairs is 50/50 tile and carpet. I sweep daily and vacuum once a week. It needs it daily, but I don't have time for that.
Most days twice a day, sometimes just once. I have issues. ETA: not my whole house though. Just the living/dining room. Everything else gets vacuumed maybe once a week
When we had carpet we vacuumed once a week. With the new laminate we dry mop once a week (it hasn't even been a month though) and I feel like I should do it every day. I'm considering getting a Rumba for Christmas. I can't keep up.
Dizzy - we use the cordless dyson stick vac on our hardwoods. It does a good job, I think. It also has lots of attachments and is great for the car, steps, etc.
There is a shark one, I think, that gets great reviews, too, and is way cheaper. I got the dyson at costco when it was on sale. Can't beat costco's return policy.

Almost daily. We have a dark colored area rug so you can see every little piece of lint. Plus I let DD snack on it so I have to vacuum the crumbs throughout the day. It only takes like three minutes to do because it's such a small area. The rest of the floor is tile and I just go around with the DustBuster as needed.

I vacuum downstairs daily. We have carpet in the foyer and a big rug in the loving and dining room. I vacuum the hard floors too. I try to do upstairs every other week but sometimes it's only once a month. I just hate hauling the vacuum upstairs. I really want a roomba haha
Hardwood floors with a few rugs. The rugs get vacummed every few days. Floors get swiffered every other day, less in rooms we don't use. Mopped once a week. Kitchen mopped 2x a week or as needed.
