This baby has not been letting me sleep much the past several weeks between her being sick (understandable) and now rolling on her stomach in the middle of the night, waking up and fussing.
She hasn't figured out how to roll back over and I have to wake up and roll her back. I don't mind her sleeping on her stomach, but she acts fussy because she can't roll back and wakes us up. Google tells me that I just need to wait it out till she learns how to roll back. Anyone experienced the same?
Definitely wait it out, or she'll get used to sleeping on her stomach. P sleeps WAY better on her tummy, but it took a while for her to gt comfortable there. If you keep going in to turn her over, she'll expect that.

Oh yes. DS went through a phase that lasted maybe a week where he would roll over, wake himself up and be unable to roll back over before he eventually started to sleep on his stomach.

So do I just ignore it and let her fuss till she falls asleep? I ignore it once or twice in the middle of the night but there are times I just give up and go in and roll her lol

I would to a certain point of "yeah OK she just needs me" rather than "she's uncomfortable figure it out kid".

We have this problem during nap time in his crib. It usually results in the worst bloody murder cry. But he isn't much happier when I roll him back. I can't win!
It's not so much an issue at night because he is in our room in the much smaller co sleeper.
Exact same thing happened to us, and she was in a Merlin Sleep Suit, so it really took her a lot of effort to roll.
It took about 2 weeks (ugh) for her to sort herself out, but we went with it, comforted her whenever she woke up at first, and eventually she figured it out. Now she sleeps on her tummy for most of the night and it back to sleeping her usual 8-10 hour stretch before a feeding. She still has an off night sometimes if she rolls too much and gets up against the crib rails, but it's becoming more rare.

DS was doing this recently and it sucked! It calmed down after a few weeks (sorry!) but we did end up doing some CIO because he had to learn to settle himself back down after rolling.
