What are you buying to update your wardrobe for fall?
I'm seeing a lot of plaid, really long cardigans, and boho-styled tops and dresses. I thought the boho thing was over, but it seems like a lot of people I see are dressed for an eternal Burning Man. This may have to do with my neighborhood.
So far I'm getting some new leggings and a pair of booties. I need some ideas!
I bought some booties (Sam Edelman petty) and wore them for the first time today. But, I'm pretty sure I completely screwed up my pants selection to go with them.
Is it terrible I stocked up on comfortable fall stuff? New fitted "sweat pants" more lounge-y cardigans (one is a deep purple modal that does that crossover thing in the front. $10.99 on Groupon), some cute long sleeved graphic T-s. We have some weekend trips to family coming up where we hang out/run around the farm so I want cute and comfy.
I also changed up my my makeup a lot and chose to put my fun money there.
I feel like fall stuff is all cardigans, jeans and boots, which I own all of already.
I did get the "deer" version of this and I love it. I have it on at work right now and got 3 compliments. For $9.99 it's actually decent quality and fun. I might order one more. Some of those patterns are beyond hideous but a few I love.
I also bought a cardigan in this color scheme earlier this summer on super sale and have been wearing it a ton. Mine is shorter/hip length and more fitted.
Ohh...and a fitted flannel shirt. We'll see how long I last on that trend. And I also got a new pair of Skechers. Haters. They are the most comfortable shoes I own. Admittedly ugly but great for all the kids chasing and errand running I do lately. They're zebra print so okay with jeans and a hoodie.

I feel like fall fashion is the same every year. I blame pinterest and polyvore always being 3 years behind.
I bought a new sweater with the crossover thing in front and a new cape-style sweater (not a poncho) which I love. My goal has been to find stuff to hide my pregnancy until I announce to I'm loving the baggy sweaters.
I bought booties, a wide brim hat, a cape coat, and some flattering skinny jeans. I'm not interested in flares since I want to wear shoes without heels.
Still on my list: Plaid scarf, tassel necklace, sweater in a jewel tone color, chambray shirt/tunic, plaid shirt. I would really like a cross body bag and new pair of brown riding boots but those will likely be on my Christmas list.
ETA: Oh, and some replacement shoes for work: black heels and black flats. Super exciting lol.
I have no idea but i would like a $500 shopping list for a basic business casual wardrobe. I suck at fashion and need a whole new wardrobe due to size changes.
I'm loving all things in oxblood, I just got a new blazer, shirt and handbag in it! I've also purchased a new poncho and some longed tops to wear with leggings this fall. I'm still looking for new camel colored boots and short biker/western boots.

I am not getting anything new, I can't afford or justify it.
My plan is lots of skinny jeans/pants, with sweaters or shirts and cardigans, along with lots of scarves (I have like 40) and boots (I have tall brown ones and shorter grey ones). That's it. Same as essentially the last 3 seasons, lol, except no leggings anymore because while they were lovely when I was pregnant, now I just still look pregnant. NEWP.

I just bought one of the Target tunics and some metallic Lucky flats. I probably will go for Costco leggings next. I'm an MMM sheep...just one year behind. BAAAAAAA
I feel like I should find some booties to change up from my usual flats/riding boots but so far I just don't love the look. We'll see.

I am in a "just say no" to flares place still so non maternity skinny jeans, plaids, flannels, stripes button downs, as well as some long silk tops. I get talls so I get more but coverage with LLL pants. I bought a ton online at JCrew last week and it all arrived yesterday so I was just going through them and figuring out what works and what doesn't.
I really want a pair of camel colored tieks, and a large mom tote like the brown Madewell one with a gold monogram.

Walk into Loft or Nordstrom and ask for help! I did this with The Limited last year before I went back to work from ML (I work in a business dress environment). Or take a spin through the outfits section on popular retailer websites for ideas. Even if you choose not to buy, it can help you keep an eye out for similar stuff at other places.
I want to get a pair or brown or oxblood booties. I'd like to get some rain boots too. And also, I saw those Birkenstocks clogs from my youth at Dillard's last week. You guys, do you remember them as comfortable as I do? Please tell me these are back because I would love to buy them, but not at $140. I'll wait till I find a deal.
I'll probably buy a bunch of striped tops at one point because that's what I do.

Any tips for nursing friendly fall clothes. I just briefly looked through my non-maternity clothes that I need to put back in my closest and am feeling totally blah about a lot of it.
I guess the long carnigans over tanks and leggings will work.

?Well my maternity leave uniform last time was long and lean tank tops with yoga pants. This time it will probably be the same with sweaters added on, heh.
cincodemayo that looks like the target tunic but with zippers - I love it! Where from?

Old Navy!
A girl I follow on IG has it and it looked so cute on her. She said it was really comfortable, and I love the zipper detail.
