DS2 graduated today from his cranial helmet. He wore it for 16 weeks. I'm really pleased and although it wasn't able to correct everything (height of head can't be correct) there was a huge improvement. I'm so proud of him and so excited to be able to see his adorable little head sans helmet. I'm going to try to post a picture, I usually have issues with that.

Such a big day! Congratulations!
Tip from a helmet grad mom: remember he learned to crawl/scoot/cruise/walk (whatever) in that thing so he may be prone to more head bumps as he is used to the "invincibility" of the helmet.

Thanks and good point! He learned to crawl when wearing it and is working on walking.
Our PT told us to keep the helmet around and in view for a while to help answer questions, per se, as he can't ask them himself. Lots of people throw them on large stuffed animals, etc. We put both of DH's on his respective head molds and they are propped up on his wall.

What type of questions? Did S have a lot of questions? He's 11 months, I'm not sure how many questions he might have.

Ha! I don't know, because as I said he couldn't ask them. That's why the PT suggested we keep this item that was a huge part of his life, that one day suddenly came off, within sight. It's life-changing, and she said it was important.
Maybe she's crazy, but we've left them in sight and will for a while longer. LOL.
