I fell off the back of our boat a few weeks ago-no I was not even drunk yet ( if I had been I probably would not have gotten hurt) and I still hurt like a mofo. I had just gotten out of the water, grabbed a towel and was about to sit down and drink a beverage when I slipped on the swim deck and my left leg got hung up on a 90 degree angle while the rest of my body went into the water not so gracefully. I should probably go to the dr as I still can hardly walk on it.. it is hard to stay off of it when you work a full time job, take care of 40+ horses at the barn I also work at and try and ride both of my horses!

Miss R did this on a pillow this weekend. After the third time of her crying I picked it up. I yelled to my husband "why does she keep doing that?" He yelled back "Pick it up so she cant".

My random: I decided what I'm going to be for Halloween and my friend said no one will know who I am. I am not changing the idea, just sad no one will know who I'm supposed to be!
For a party we're hosting, Joan Crawford
and for a friend's party, Edie Beale (from Grey Gardens)
I spent $199 on the dry bar blow dryer. But that included the dryer, a round brush, shampoo, conditioner, and a spray thing. Otherwise you could buy just the dryer for $195. I'm justifying it by telling myself I got a REALLY GOOD DEAL.
My hair has been acting weird since we moved into our new house. Really weighed down & greasy. I had started using the 10 miracle stuff & thought it might be that. I told DH that I was using Redken shampoo & some travel conditioner but I needed real conditioner. So I picked up something small at Target since I'm getting my hair cut. Ladies I looked at the Redken bottle yesterday & I will be damned but it is conditioner. So I've been double conditioning plus adding Moroccan oil & the 10 product. I jumped out of the shower & grabbed my travel shampoo & holy shit what a difference. I feel so damned blonde.
Hahaha, this story made my day. That is hilarious. I would do something like that.

If the spray thing is the Texas Tea Volumnizing spray it's amazing. I bought the drybar kit and never bothered with the spray for months, thinking it was hair spray. Started using it recently and I love it. The smell is nice and it really makes my hair feel soft and full.
That's awesome 10nille! I have super fine hair so I need to try it! Just checked and it's the 'sake bomb' set? So nourishing shampoo/conditioner and travel hairspray and shine spray. I've never used any of those but they're a good size to put in my gym bag.

DH and i have a wedding to go to in Folly Beach next weekend...i am STRUGGLING with what to wear! i don't really want to wear anything i have, it either feels too casual or too dress or too "spring/summer" for an october wedding, even though it's on the beach.
but i am REALLY excited to wear an adorable 3/4 sleeve romper for the rehearsal dinner
I'm having a rough day. I first thought everyone else must be crazy bc of the full moon. I have finally admitted I'm the cranky one who is annoyed by everyone else lol

H vent again. I asked him to do 1 thing today before he went to work. Do you think he managed to find the time before noon? No. So I have yet another errand to run. Rage!
But since he's working tonight I'm ordering myself pizza.
I'm in such a funk lately. I have been bailing on my workouts, tired, exhausted, irritable and stressed. I have to actively make myself not want to strangle H most days. I hope whatever it is, that it passes soon bc I feel soooo blah.
Re: working out, I'm giving myself till Saturday to get it together and get back to it as I know it'll help me feel better. I'm just so exhausted and stressed that I just come home and want to get in pjs and lay around after work.
I'm working so much lately, I feel like my work/life balance is off kilter. I worked hard career wise to get where I'm at but I'm in deep contemplation if it's worth it in the end. I hate missing my family
aak0517 Hugs! That was me all last month! xokell2 That's where I am too right now which is why I'm barely posting. I'm starting grad school in January and it's giving me anxiety knowing I'll have even less free time.
We bought new couches last month. I posted on IG that I was in the process of painting, well I patched one wall and primed it and taped up a bunch of paint chips...They're still taped up and we have yet to decide on a color. My living room is giving me the sads. I'd rather someone else decide and pick out new furniture for us.
ETA- This is what my living room wall looks like lol
jm1211 - are you sold on gray walls? I think cobalt or navy would look fantastic.
@ask0517 - maybe you need a vacation or some Tex Mex.
xokell2 - hugs honey. And holy smokes your little boy is so cute. I loved his pic on IG.
I'm not sold on grey but I'm not sold on navy (it's been suggested a few times). Im basically going to paint the entire interior minus bedrooms because of my open layout. I'm willing to do an accent wall but I know I need to pick another color that would go with the accent wall if I go that route. Oh and my house is tiny so I'm afraid a dark color will make it look smaller...clearly I'm over complicating this. lol

Oh no I get it. DH is stressing because we haven't finished decorating our house. Dude we just moved in 2 weeks ago.
I think an accent wall would be nice & make your couch pop. If you want a more serene overall feel pick maybe 2 shades up from your couch.
Maybe you need to send me your number and I can text you frantically as I try to finish painting lol I'm stressing too over decorating our house...we have tons of half finished projects that are making me crazy. December will be 5 years since we bought the house lol

Oh god this was me a few months ago. We ended up going with Perfect Greige from Sherwin Williams and love it. I knew the color would extend from living room, dining room, hall, stairs - it's a good shade to match the various furniture in each room since we have a mix of browns and blacks in different areas.
Also, I found it best to see colors best by getting samples - the original color I was set on first ended up being a super light pale grey/blue almost white. I hated it when I put the sample on the wall. I went through six shades until I found the SW I loved.
