I know I asked for hotel recs before but since then I've changed my mind 600 times about whether I'm going. I just need to book it and there's a decent deal at this one.
Also, remind me it's ok to leave my kid for 3 nights to celebrate our 10th anniversary, especially since H's flight and the hotel are covered (within reason).

When I stayed there it was nice but that was a whole ago. We left our kiddos to go to Vegas for our 10th. It is hard to lesve them but you will have a great time!
We stayed there a few years ago and really enjoyed it. The crepe place is amazing! Also, we did the $20 upgrade "trick" at check in and it totally worked! We ended up in a room on I believe the 22nd floor with an amazing view of the Bellagio fountains.
H and I stayed there several years ago and liked it. The location was great. He actually proposed in our room at Paris. We also got upgrade by using the $20 "trick" that robyn mentioned.

Do I just Google this?
I read about it on here a few years ago, right before we went. Pretty much I just gave a $20 to the clerk in the hotel who checked us in and asked her if there were any upgrades available, and we made a big deal about it being our first time in Vegas, and that we were there for DH's birthday. The lady we had was really nice and gave us a great upgrade. We were there in April.

We did this also the last time we were there and it worked. That trip we were at Mirage.
