Wake up number 2 after a 2.5 hour stretch, not too shabby. Now hopefully we can get one more 2.5-3 hour stretch to make it until a reasonable wake up time for the day.
Wake up #1 here at 5AM. We had difficulty getting her to fall asleep initially because we had her at a football game in the carrier at her bedtime and of course she woke up when we took her out of the carrier at home. She did sleep for about 5 hours though, so I can't complain about that. She normally poops once a day and didn't poop yesterday. I am glad she didn't poop while sleeping because unswaddling to change her is a pain.
DD slept till about 8:30, DH changed her while I went to the bathroom and there was an explosion in there. She's all cleaned up and feeding again and we are up for the day.
Don't fear! My newborn is def not STTN, lol. She did a monster feed at 10:30 then DH wanted to try the bassinet instead of taking her per usual so I did and now I might kill him. She woke up (as I knew she would) and then ate on the other side and hadn't gone down since. He took her to calm her down and kept being like "I think she's hungry". Dude she ate for an hour 20 mins ago she's not hungry. He told me to sleep while he took care of it but unlike him I don't have the ability to sleep through her crying. So he finally went downstairs for an hour, and just brought her back up. She ate for about 2 mins and is now asleep on my chest. He's annoying me tonight for the first time since we brought her home. I guess it was bound to happen some night.
Ha! I had the same experience. H and I were doing great together up until about 10 days PP. then he had the nerve to say "I'm tired, 5 more minutes" when I asked him to take the baby after I had been up all night with her and had let him sleep. I almost killed him.
