Other boards are starting to chat SS, so I am eager to get our's started too Who is in this time around? Like last year we will need a minimum of 10 people to make it optimally enjoyable.
If I get enough yes votes, I'll update this post with sign up information on elfster.
Would it be okay to draw names on November 1st or is that too early? I can't even remember what we did last time. Help me with dates!
I feel it's early, but it reading the boards the last few weeks I might be a minority in that. I think last year we did a similar timeframe to what you're proposing and then ended up pushing it back a few weeks, right? Maybe drawn names Nov 15 and mail by Dec 10? Or something like that?

And just FYI for anyone who is new or didn't participate last year....
We do a limit of $25 on gifts and people can set up a wish list on Elfster to give you ideas on what to buy (some people are better than others at filling it out...sorry I am one of the slackers!) We also did a little "quiz" on the board to give ideas too. Then when everyone gets their gift they post the info and photo on the board and it's great. Our board did a really good job last year!

Yeah, this sounds familiar. As long as we draw by Thanksgiving I'm happy
Well, that's at least 10 people then, so I'll set up the event and of course others can keep joining in.
Last year we had a minimum post count, or a voucher system. Do you guys feel more comfortable with a limit of 500 posts, or 1000? HoneySpider thoughts?
