Just finished wakeup #1. DD woke all the way up but went back down fairly easily.
I'm officially the least sexy person ever when I go to bed. I'm in yoga pants and a tank top, wearing a bunion night splint, about to strap on my CPAP mask.
It's just before 10pm here and I guess I'll go to bed soon. Change DD, swaddle and top her off. But she's literally been just waking up to eat and going right back to sleep since like noon today. I tried keeping her awake around 6pm tonight and she was just pissed off the while time.
So I'm a little nervous for tonight, not gonna lie. I don't know if it's the end of a growth spurt or her little body trying to fight off the cold/congestion DS2 gave her or what...
I am trying to finish the second season of OITNB. It's the final moments of the weekend and I really don't want to face the reality of the office tomorrow afternoon when I do finally manage to get there. I've basically been gone since Wednesday.
My brother posted a picture of himself dancing in public on stage in his underwear (like baggy shorts) band a sailors hat at some festival. I wish I could share with you all. It is kind of hilarious. I have zero idea why it happened. I asked him why and he said they asked for volunteers and he was the only one to volunteer. The host or whatever (another guy in underwear ) is dancing too
Wake up #1 here. So while we didn't get the magical STTN that some people get with the Merlin sleep suit, we got 5 hours sleeping on a flat surface, which is a first. Hopefully this is the first step to sleeping in the crib.
I am up past 11 for the first time in ages. Doing what you ask? Shopping on Amazon Fresh. I am so awesome :-|
I find I am SO inefficient with this, inevitably I am like $12 short of the $50 minimum and spend forever thinking through what else I should buy that gets me to the minimum.
Idk what wake up this is He had a huge poop so maybe he'll feel better & sleep? The back of his neck was a bit warm so I turned the ceiling fan on. Getting awfully close to letting him sleep with my boob in his mouth....
Dying. We are on wake up.... 5? 6? And I just put DS1 back in his bed after he smacked me in the nose while rolling over. Not sure how long he was in bed with us...
DS2 has horrid gas. His poor little digestive system can't figure this all out. So he keeps waking up, screaming in pain. No poop since Thursday.
Feel bad for my DH. He has to be up at 5:30 for the day...
Wake up #2. E has been chugging, so I get to actually sleepy 2.5 hours between feeds instead of just 2! Can't wait until the end of the week when she is back to birth weight and we can let her sleep longer. The boob sweat is out of control here. Apparently that's the only place I get night sweats. Every night (and many times in the middle of the night when in get back into bed), I flop/roll around for awhile just because I am not pregnant and i CAN. and I just revel in how comfortable it is to lay in bed again. Man, being not pregnant is awesome.
I was going to try to sleep my first stretch in the master bedroom, but DH was snoring right away. So I abandoned that and went right to the bed in the nursery.
Wake up #1 after 3 hours of sleep. Pretty typical and seems to be her pattern. She started pooping as soon as I picked her up, so I still need to change her diaper, reswaddle and then nurse rhe other side.
Fingers crossed she goes back down semi easily despite sleeping all day.
My kid won't go back to sleep. IT'S NOT MORNING BABY.
Also super thirsty in the MOTN. I keep 1L of water on my nightstand but I just polished that off and could use more but I'm too lazy to go downstairs to get it.
Wake up #2. I'm going to kill my H. He has a man cold and is making so much noise. He keeps moaning and complaining how tomorrow is going to be horrible. He got called for jury duty, so it's not like he even has to go to work. At one point he woke me up to ask me to hand him a tissue because I have a box on my nightstand and he doesn't. I basically threw the box at his head.
pinotgrig - I think I'm ready for that shovel now.
My 2 year old decided 4am was time to get up for the day. She had been up for a while before that so there's no chance in her going back to sleep right now. She's still running a fever but seems fine otherwise.
Wakeup #3. She did sleep just under 3 hours, so that's good. Hopefully she'll sleep for another 2-3, so I can sleep a bit more and shower before she wakes.
Wake up 1 here. She slept for almost 7 hours, but also fell asleep around 7:30pm, which is early for her. I'm hoping this doesn't mean she will be up for the day at 5am.

You got it. I'll also help you hide the body. I would be so mad - I can't believe he woke you for a Kleenex!! Oh mr. starburst.
Omg this has been our best night! 3+ hour stretches of sleep!! Amazing. Let's hope this is the start of a trend.
We are on wake up #2 after her second 3 hours stretch of sleep too. Feels so good! Hoping now for at least another 2 hours of sleep before we can be up for the day.
