1. Meeting up with my cousin's wife today. She'll either come here or we'll meet for coffee. Excited to have some girl time and for her to see C. They live locally but between her two kids and all their activities and C we have a hard time seeing each other.
2. Hopefully showing our house.
3. Talking to a new realtor in new city...she is referred by our agent here. Hoping she moves us along in the right direction. We need to be making better progress and I don't feel like we are.
4. House hunting...
5. We have a friend's kid's first birthday party on Sunday. Depending on offers here (or no offers) we will either go or have to skip.
1. Thursday I'm going to a GTG with some of the ladies from MMM 2. Sunday night we're going to the orchestra 3. Playoff baseball starts this week! Let's go Mets!!
I have to do the tag stickers on the car this week. For some reason my mail in offer never came in the mail. I also have to renew my id. I don't want to go to the BMV.

I have a ton of stuff to do at work this week, so I'll just be looking forward to the weekend. If the weather is nice, I'd like to hit the pumpkin patch this weekend.
Relatively quiet week for me, hoping to kick this cold for good.
- Target after I take DS to preschool today - lunch with a friend later this week - taking DS to a wildlife center - visiting good friends a couple hours away this weekend
Also need to make crockpot applesauce (for us) and pumpkin bread for DH's work team.
Working out (4x is the goal) Hosting FIL late Thursday night through Saturday morning (We are going to a pumpkin patch, mini golf if weather permits and probably a walk) Hopefully getting a brow wax on Wednesday!

This happened with my H's car. It was because the DMV issued his license plate (so a duplicate) to someone else. LOL. What a mess.
Noooo!!! They were sold out yesterday Brown sugar cinnamon instead. Grocery store was also sold out of canned pumpkin. I was super annoyed.
Boooo!
I'm seeing them more places this year than in the past, I used to only be able to get them at Target. I've seen them in my grocery store and somewhere else (but I forget where....CVS maybe?)
I haven't bought any since I bought my 3 boxes at Big Lots this summer.
Aww *hugs* pooh8402! It will be ok, but yes, the first couple days really suck but at least for me it was nice to do something other than feeding and changing a baby all day!
Long weekend this weekend! My sister offered to pay for gas for us to come down to my parents to go to a free pumpkin event in my hometown. I told her we didn't have the gas money to drive down and she said if that's all that's stopping us, she'd pay because it was worth it to see us <3
Other than that just more unpacking, laundry, the usual. Hopefully this cold/allergy thing E and I are both dealing with goes away soon!
luv2rn4fun How did the house hunting go this weekend? Do you have a solid list of wants/needs for the new place?
House hunting has been frustrating We are using my uncle, who is currently on vacation. He's also not an expert in this area and we are realizing we need this. We have tried "firing" him multiple times but he just won't let it go (he needs the money). So after another conversation and him saying we are free to talk to anyone we want (while he continues to find us our home) I am now talking to another agent (referred by our selling agent) today. I'm just so sick of it all already...mainly because we aren't seeing anything we love in the neighborhoods we like (inventory is low) and because we are spending 5 hr every weekend with C driving around, which is just a hassle between having him off schedule, trying to nurse between houses, and feeding him solids.
To answer your question We have a pretty big list and know what we want. We also know our priorities and what we're willing to sacrifice. The biggies are 2200-2500 sq ft, 4 bedroom, 3 car garage, kitchen has to be livable (our kitchen right now is a dream kitchen...if the new kitchen needs remodel it's a option if the price is low enough), ideally we would have a pool and RV parking as well...and of course, in a nice, quiet, family friendly neighborhood with great schools and convenience.
We saw two homes that were ok this weekend...one had a great backyard (but no pool), kitchen was redone, great neighborhood (exactly where we want to be) but needs work and is only 3 bedrooms (and 1871 sq ft, so small and I don't think we can make it work size wise; otherwise we would be entertaining this one because of location). The other was completely redone, quiet neighborhood but not the best for convenience...beautiful home but too small (2000 sq ft) and hardly any storage...and no pool, close to neighbors, and not much room for a pool if we wanted to put one in.
ewall- I think I missed something...I thought you weren't taking the new job??? Is this a good thing or does it mean more travel/time away from home? Wishing you the best as you transition!

pooh8402- LOL...I would for sure be less concerned about leaving C with a nanny vs. DH. C has only been with DH very seldom (and really not much these past few months). I'm sure E will do great though and you don't have anything to really worry about. It will be hard to be away but hopefully you will adapt with time and enjoy the moments you two do have together even more. ((hugs))
