ewall- I think I missed something...I thought you weren't taking the new job??? Is this a good thing or does it mean more travel/time away from home? Wishing you the best as you transition!
It's complicated. But yes, this is the job that I said no to earlier this year. Remains to be seen if this is a good thing or not, but I guess that uncertainty is pretty much every time you start something new
I put a pot roast and veggies in the crockpot this morning before work. When I got home, I thought it was odd I couldn't smell it because I remembered turning it on. Yup, power went out in the house after we left this morning. So the meat was sitting there raw all day and we don't have a yummy dinner waiting. Grr!
hugs pooh8402, I hope your return to work goes as smoothly as possible.
I have nothing big going on during the week, but a fun weekend ahead. I'm going back to my hometown and staying with my parents. It's my dad's bday and we're having a family party Saturday night. Also, A bunch of my friends are all going to be in town for our friend's baby shower, which is Sunday. We will probably get together Friday night and Saturday as well. I am not thrilled about attending a baby shower given my TTC struggles, but I will power through.
Just work and lots of it! I was training the new girl yesterday with some major sinus crud. Of course, I worried last night that she must think I'm a weirdo. I seriously had trouble thinking my face hurt so bad! LOL
I am looking forward to my u/s Thursday. Other then that just working this week.
Edit: how could I forget this weekend is Canadian Thanksgiving! So we have dinner on Saturday with the ILs and dinner Sunday with my family. (I work the holiday Monday so dinners were planned around that.)
