So my friend and I are going to co-host a party (my first time ever!) and I'm just wondering what you all are doing this year and if you have suggestions for what makes a good Halloween party (besides the drinks ).
I also need to come up with a costume and would like to take advantage of my current (and short-lived) blondeness...
This introvert enjoys lots of Halloween music, and some Halloween movies played on a TV somewhere (Hocus Pocus and The Nightmare Before Christmas, being my favorites).
When I was blonde, I was Sookie Stackhouse from True Blood. I wore shorts and a white t-shirt, and I printed out a Merlotte's logo, and pinned it on. It was one of the easiest costumes ever. Do you have a favorite blonde TV/Movie character?

good ideas!
I am totally drawing a blank, which is crazy because I feel like usually all I can think of are blonde people and I've always thought "I don't look enough like that person". I should really think about shows H and I like, more likely he'd agree to do a couple's costume
I can't tell you. I only ever hosted 1 and we did a great job of themed decorations (We did F*ed up Fairytales) and had great food. Everyone was party hopping that night and apparently all hopped to our party at the same time and hopped out at the same time. So the party was great..for 1 hour and then was really depressing
I told Jennlin the other day that I hate Halloween and she looked at me and pointed out it's my favorite holiday. I said that's why I hate it...I always wanted so much from it and it always ended up a bust that now it just makes me super sad.

ugh, I'm sorry I have always felt the same way though - it seems like a great idea in theory, but tends to be really disappointing. This is my first go at it, so we'll see what happens...
