A local sheep farmer came to my guild meeting last night. She had some photos of her sheep (and lambs!) with a photo-bombing guard llama. So much cuteness and hilarity combined!
(and she also had some super-soft Shetland fleece samples that make me think I might spend a bundle next shearing season...)
My book that I'm very late on getting to considering I'm the one leading the discussion on it tomorrow (!!), but damn so far it's riveting and has been from about page 3. I've gotten used to having to slog through a good 50-100 pages of a book before being hooked so this is refreshing.
I have recently diagnosed gestational diabetes, and in order to keep it in control until I deliver, my diet is extremely restrictive. But I can have one of these every evening, and they actually taste like a treat that I would eat under normal circumstances. It's amazing.
I recently put up a bird feeder outside my home office window and I just *love* watching the birds (and occasionally the squirrel, who's been unsuccessful so far). Plus, I get a lot of chipmunks on the ground, racing around.
Getting off work calls and saying, "Girl, bye"/"Boy, bye" once I hang up. Just now, "Fool, please" also worked made me smile. So, I guess being aggressive behind people's backs?

That our local theater is having a matinee next week, during the day, for people who do not drive at night, homeschoolers, ect. I am going because it is so much easier than having to get a sitter and deal with the kids before I try to make the 7:00 shows. At 11:00am, Kids in school, I can walk out of the house with no worries, no work, no coordinating other people.

My late lunch! Went to one of my old work lunch spots and hit up the salad bar. Ive got organic greens mixed with spinach, hard boiled egg, sunflower seeds, feta, parmesan and blue cheese, sesame ginger dressing and their leftover croutons (pretzel, pumpernickel, etc). Its tasty although the amount of cheese cancels out any health benefits it might have!
Fairy tales do not tell children the dragons exist. Children already know that dragons exist. Fairy tales tell children the dragons can be killed. - G. K. Chesterton
