I hate pre-made plain hummus, but generally like homemade restaurant hummus.
Not something I'm looking to make myself right now. Unless you can suggest a seasoning add-in to pre-made plain?
I'm currently sitting at my desk eating carrot sticks and what must be garlic hummus (?) that was delivered with my lunch. SO GOOD. I could probably manage this over ranch.

I know you said you don't want to make it, but it's SO easy, really, like 5 min. I also prefer fresh homemade hummus, but I will say the Sabra stuff is pretty good. I also saw a recipe (I guess this is called duqqah) where they added pistachios, almonds and pine nuts, which looked really good.
I do like both of these more than hummus. And they're probably less carb-y than hummus.
But bad hummus is usually still edible.
Bad baba ganoush is gag-worthy. Much harder to nail ime.
I don't eat bad versions of any of these! I buy them freshly made at the Middle Eastern grocery. It's wonderful. The downside is that there are also mountains of freshly baked pita there, which makes it less likely that I'll use carrots as my dipping tool. lol.
Except muhammara. I don't have a fresh source for that, sadly. It seems easy enough to make, but thus far I've made do with Trader Joe's version.
I really love the Sabra Roasted Pine Nut Hummus. It's a really nice liiiiightly sweet nutty flavor.
THIS x infinity. I had no idea what I was having when I was at an old ex bf's house and it was this. I was seriously surprised I liked hummus or that it was hummus at all. There's supposed to be an avocado hummus out now too! I heart avocados, just nothing spicy which is why the roasted pine nut hummus was perfect.
