I can relate. I lost my job in June - my director lost hers at an 8:30am touchbase, and mine was immediately following.
It took me almost 4 months to find a new job.
My advice is to really take advantage of this time when you are still employed to get out there on LinkedIn and make/update new connections so you can connect their job postings to anyone you might know professionally who can refer you. Indeed is a good app as well. No one seemed to bat an eye at me giving corporate restructuring as the reason for being unemployed. It happens all the time.
If they are offering a severance, you might be able to receive unemployment simultaneously.
It's a rough road, for sure. I hope you can find something quickly.
Having lost two jobs in a row because of the company going under, I know how much this sucks.
I agree with pp that the best thing you can do is take a breath and start looking for something else. I know it was much easier to find a new job while still employed at the previous one.
