I have been pregnant two weeks longer with this baby vs J. To be totally fair, the end of this pregnancy has been way better than the end of my pregnancy with her but I am ready for it to end
That's how I felt with this last pregnancy. It lasted 2 weeks longer, but even though I wasn't swollen or on bed rest or anything like that I was soooo ready for it to be done.

Confession: my DH and I slept in the same bed for the first time in 2-3 months last night. Dh works nights so he's not there usually and the nights he is he doesn't want to end up with DS in bed with us so he sleeps in the guest bed.
It was really nice. He is much easier to sleep next to then the karate kid toddler.
I basically didn't sleep last night but feel surprisingly awake. Weird.
My goals today are to send our old iPhones back for our Verizon credit, stuff the birth announcements, and go to Nordstrom to exchange the north face fleece someone bought her that is 6-12 months for a 0-3 month size.
And nap. Based off last night I will likely need a nap.
We were supposed to have family pictures today, but H is really sick. But I got an eyebrow wax AND paid $30 to have my hair straightened yesterday, so we are doing Jack's six-month photos and a few with me in them instead of skipping. This is a friend so she can take a couple shots of the three of us some other time.
I think I might go see a movie by myself tonight. I'm kind of excited!
I am enjoying mcd's breakfast and logged on to work. apparently the rest of my team was coming in today, but it's 9am and no one is logged on. I really hope they are still coming in to work today vs Monday because I have no desire to work Monday.
N should be back within the hour, and then we have skating lessons!
My husband and older daughter are off doing their Saturday yard sale hunting. The little one and I are hanging out while I wait for a run to coincide with the library opening. She is flipping through books and just pointed to pictures and said many words that I didn't know she knew (bucket, orange, scissor, box, zebra) - my mind is kind of blown. The word explosion was a little while coming, but it is so cool to see.
The little guy has been fever free for over 24 hours and is acting completely back to himself after the antibiotics so I think we're going to go to our monthly German thing. And I think I've earned the big beer after dealing with a post surgery Dh and sick kids over the last few weeks. I'd love to do some fall stuff but we'll have to see. I don't want to push it too far but we have been on lockdown for like three weeks and I can almost taste the freedom of leaving the house to have fun!
And in a related confessions, I slept in the guest bed while DH was recovering and just rejoined him in our bed the last few night and I am ready to go buy a king immediately. I had far more room in the twin by myself than I do with our shared queen.
I'm so tired this morning, DS had me up 1:30 to 3:30, then again at 6. He hasn't kept me up like that in a long time, but I think it was because of his four month shots yesterday. He has a fever this morning and I think he was a little warm all night. Maybe flameful, but I'm still going to take him to my Crossfit class this morning, since he'll just stay in his infant seat and he shouldn't be contagious.

We are driving an hour to a cool orchard that had a massive petting zoo, pumpkins, donuts, the whole works. Hopefully M doesn't melt down on the drive there.
When V "sleeps in" I'm always conflicted. Part of me wants more sleep but part of me loves being awake in my own house when no one else is. It's rarely more than an extra thirty minutes.
Not much on the agenda for today. Extended family is grilling in a park north of the city, I'm going to drop msniq and V off there and get in a bike ride.
Were at my aunts house while we get settled into the new place. Which is very gracious of my aunt, she has TONS of toys since she frequently babysits her grandsons and its just the most comfortable house ever.
Except two things: they always have th TV on, even if no one is in the room (pet peeve of mine) and my uncle likes to drink whiskey and talk about politics. He thinks Trump would make a good president and that unions are killing our country. I was able to keep my mouth shut, thank god!
I hated full panel maternity jeans. Until that was all I could wear.
I don't fit into my regular clothes yet, so I am back to the hating the full panel jeans. I need to just go buy new clothes, but i don't want to spend money, especially when I am not working. Boo.
I am hiding in my air conditioned room at the hotel until the wedding in a few hours. Total silence (well except for the sound of some kids at the pool) and no little person trying to squash me. I would like to go down to the lobby and get myself an iced coffee and a brownie or something to savor this quiet time, but it's not that kind of resort!
R has been sick on and off for 2 weeks with a stomach bug and I picked it up yesterday. There is nothing worse than parenting while sick. Thankfully h is picking up all the slack without complaining.
holly116 you definitely deserve the big beer and a king bed!
Taking DD to a pumpkin decorating party at the house of a friend from college. Her house is beautiful and a custom build in the city so I didn't want to risk anything, we are just using stickers. It's supposed to be 86* today! This week is the final gasp of summer. I love it! Not ready for cold and snow.
OMG shopping with an energetic 2.5yo is a hot mess. DH didn't put the stroller in my car so she was loose (not that she really tolerates the stroller anymore).
DH was all "I need clothes" and my mom was getting stuff for the house. So I was wrangling E.
I slept until 10 after passing K off to H after she got up at 8! He was making breakfast when I rolled out of bed and then we drank coffee on the deck while the kids played. Great day so far.
It's about their nap time and then we are going to the pumpkin patch later.
