Ahhhh, I feel so much better. We have a long day of church, football at a friends house and dinner with our families tonight. So I'm happy I got some sleep finally. Although, I'm sure DH will be complaining about how tired he is even though he got a solid 6 hours before I gave him the baby.
It is 10:15. My H is still sleeping. He also took a nap yesterday. He doesn't do night wake-ups with DS. Luckily for him I am wearing DS right now and he is asleep, otherwise I would be dragging his ass out of bed. Either that or smothering him with a pillow.
They really are the weaker sex. I am AMAZED sometimes at H's nerve to tell me he's tired when he is routinely getting 6-8+ hours of sleep a night while I barely go more than 4 or 5 bc I get up to pump.
"But the toddler is exhausting" "But I have a 3hr round trip commute" "But work was stressful"
All legitimate but rage inducing reasons I've heard about why MH is tired. Mhmmm...

Thanks page and @mrsbecky. I assume he will figure it out eventually or he is going to get very hungry when I go back to work. I do have faith that daycare workers will make it work eventually. Luckily now he takes predictable naps mid day so I can leave for a bit then. Sucks re bedtime though.
My 2 year old just said "I do yoga" and starts doing some poses. I guess they leaned this at daycare?? I don't yoga. Lol.
The do yoga at V's daycare in "dance" class. But, #Seattle
My DS learned yoga in preschool in our rural community. Very random for around here but I fully admit that I wish I could've been a fly on the wall in the class watching 25 four-year-olds doing downward dog.
So DH told all of our church friends that I stayed home today because I was "sick, but the good kind of sick". Seriously DH, stop telling people I'm pregnant. He is an even worse secret keeper than me. And that isn't even why I stayed home.
I hate when H is sick. The snoring is so ridiculous I can hear it throughout the house, so I can't get away from it. So I am on about three hours of sleep and I KNOW he slept the whole night because the snoring never stopped. Yet I am supposed to "have sympathy" for him because he is sick and "needs sleep." RAGE.
Also I think I might suck as a parent. So far the baby has done the exersaucer (x3), bouncy chair, books, playmat (two different ones), sat and played with a bunch of different toys, solids, bottles (x3), crinkling a paper bag, lying in his crib and watching the mobile, singing, a walk, and the park...and part of a Daniel Tiger episode while I scarfed down lunch. What else do I do?!? I am out of ideas.
But he did start crying and reach for me when my friend's kid tried to hold him at the park, so at least maybe he can't tell I'm not the best parent.

I was texting my in laws yesterday about potential dinner plans and we couldn't decide on a restaurant. My FIL actually typed "we'll figure it out but remember, dd likes to eat dinner around 5:30." UNMMMMM yes. I'm aware what time MY CHILD eats dinner. He bugs me.
Incredibly petty complaint: when I've told people that I'm pregnant, most of them say "oh that's why you moved!" No. We moved on a whim because we found an awesome house and the pregnancy timing was more or less a coincidence. We were already ttc at that point, but were debating backing off for a few months. And I know it's just making conversation but it's almost like "ohhhhhhh, I solved the mystery of Vicmo's new house!" What? No.
One of our number one questions- will you move? I found that to be so annoying. Uhhhh... No? Should we?
@starry- I'm sure she's fine. She just has other priorities right now. Eta- just saw your update.
His exchange with H was hilarious (especially since I was in the other room staying out of it)
H: ok, it's time to take your nap. J: No! H: Yes, it's naptime. J: No! Cake! H: No, it's naptime. J: No, cake! Cake! Cake! H: You can have cake after your nap. J: Cake! Cake! Cake! H: (hands him his teddy bear) Lay down and take a nap. J: More bears! More cake!!
H got off work early and took over whiny tv wanting toddler duty. I did a Costco run, grocery store and now am thinking about making another batch of apple crisp (which I will share with no one).
Anyone know if Costco's giant muffins freeze ok? I bought a dozen on a whim and definitely won't go through them before they go bad.
