We are getting DS a small starter train set for xmas. I had decided to forego the train table because we have a tiny house and no space for one. Then tiday , I happened upon this very small table at OUAC
Its about 30x30"
it was $25 which I know isn't the deal of the century but Ive never seen this size at the consignment stores or on CL around here in the several months I've been looking.
question- is it worth it? I know it's limiting and if/when he expands his train collection it will be too small. But maybe for Legos? It seems nice to not to have to play on the floor. We have hardwoods in the living room and carpet in his room, where the table would go.
is it worth it or should we just keep everything on the floor? If it would get a year if use, I'd be happy. If not, I will pass.
TIA!
eta: it's JUST the table for $25, no storage , no trains.
Oh man, my kid would go crazy over that! I have no idea what those things cost normally but I think it would be worth it. DD is obsessed with trains/train tables and we don't have a lot of room either so something like that would be perfect.
Yes I think so! We started out with a table that size I got on craigslist. We got a bigger table a year later (also craigslist) because Ben was obsessed with trains but we still use the smaller table for games/Duplos.
