E has had a runny nose for almost a week now. We've been managing by sucking out all the snot and keeping her face clean as much as possible. She has not run a fever and seems to be in a relatively good mood besides being especially clingy with me. Today her snot does seem a bit more green and she has coughed a few times - definitely a wet cough. Do we head in to the pediatrician tomorrow? Wait it out? As a FTM I'm on the fence on what to do. :?

Certainly call and ask if you're worried, but even for little ones, there's not much they can do if it's a cold.
My son got cold with similar symptoms at 2.5 months, and our pedi just advised running a humidifer, suctioning out the snot, and keeping an eye on him rather than bringing him in.
That pretty much describes my kid all the time. With no fever or other symptoms (acting differently, not eating/drinking, not enough wet diapers, etc) I would just KOKO.
Ok. Thanks ladies. She is 8 months. We'll KOKO. Should she stay home or go to the nanny's? She is with 1-3 kids depending on the day; aged 8mths - 4yrs
Sounds like a pretty normal cold which will probably last until April with a week here or there of perfectly fine. Sorry to say.
Also, does it happen to be dry and dusty where you live? Both my kids are "sick" and I think it's just from the dry air and constant dust plus still being 80 in October. Itchy watery eyes, stuffy/snotty noses, tired/just not looking good in general. It hit me on Saturday morning and I literally thought I was going to die Saturday afternoon and my face was so swelled and sensitive I looked 9 months pregnant. It was the worst. It's now cooling down here this week with a hard freeze so I hope it helps.

I'm in the PNW so definitely not dry or dusty here. Quite the opposite
From what I gathered everyone around here has it including the other 8mth old E stays with tomorrow. It's gonna be a looooong winter. Sigh
