My main concern is what if there is a middle of the night emergency? I'm not running out of the house naked lol. My h is a nude sleeper and if something happens in the middle of the night (dog puke, etc) he is all running around trying to find boxers or whatever. No thanks.
I am so glad that I am not alone in this. I am so convinced that if we have a fire it will be at night, and hell no am I running out of the house naked into the arms of a TV reporter. Yes, our town is small, a house fire is big news. Because of this most likely irrational fear I do my make-up every night before bed.
I would rather be seen sans makeup than eyeliner and mascara smeared all over face. This is really weird
Any combination of the below, based on season, temp, and how high DS has cranked the AC...
- old yoga pants (worn out, not quite as stretchy / fitting) - old sweatpants (mostly velour) - flannel pajama pants (Gap Body) - cotton pajama pants (Gap Body and Victoria's Secret) - short sleeve tee (solid color from J Crew, the older, the comfier!) - long sleeved tee (also J Crew)
Sometimes in the dead of summer even with the AC on I will wear cotton athletic shorts and a tank.

Used to be naked but now that we live with my MIL and we have to keep the door open for the dog, I wear a tank top & underwear. If I get cold, I wear leggings as well. And socks.
I have a robe hanging on my door for emergencies (aka having to go the toilet in the middle of the night when my MIL could also be going to the toilet).

I'm actually surprised at how many people sleep in the nude. I hate sleeping without clothes on-I get cold and vulnerable. Lol.
Yeah, I just cannot be nude unless I fall asleep following the deed. If something happens in the middle of the night, I'm not going to be the one trying to find clothes or standing in my yard naked.
Also, cold.
I sleep in pajama pants (the slippery kind) and a tee or tank depending on the temp.
You sleep in a hoodie? Do you use a blanket? Do you get hot at night?
Yeah, most nights! Yes, I still sleep under a sheet and a quilt. I don't really get hot but if I do, I strip down to the tank top ... I'm awake throughout the night anyway so I can evaluate my temp every few hours.
I couldn't do it when I was pregnant or a few months postpartum but otherwise it's comfortable for me. I don't run very hot and I like to feel cocooned.
This is making me feel claustrophobic right now. I hate HATE anything cocooning me. We don't even use a top sheet. We have a lightweight blanket and coverlet thing. I usually just sleep in my underwear. Sometimes I wear a tank. My feet have to be out underneath the covers too.
In a hotel? First thing I do is rip all the covers out from being tucked in.
I can't wear much because I toss and turn and get bounced up like you, darkling_glory. The solution? Panties only. I try to wear panties and a tank and at my first flip, I end up ripping the tank off and flinging it across the room.

IDK why, but H's t-shirts, like his older undershirts, are softer for sleeping. I like big sweatpants for bottoms. Winter, I typically wear flannel pj sets.
I don't know how people can sleep with socks! I don't know what it is, but my feet must feel the sheets or I can't sleep. Socks are stifling to me. Apparently even as a small child I felt that way--my mother has said she had to cut the feet off of all my one piece pjs.
A battle H and I have nightly. He always wants nothing and uses the argument that we won't be able to when we have kids. Sometimes I don't care, but sometimes I want to wear underwear and one of his white undershirts to bed. I'd say half and half. Anything more and I am too hot!! I like to be cold but under a comforter.

I sleep naked and keep a robe next to the bed. I'm already dreading postpartum when I'll have to be clothed in bed. Then it will be nursing tanks and yoga pants.
I'm actually surprised at how many people sleep in the nude. I hate sleeping without clothes on-I get cold and vulnerable. Lol.
In addition to being cold I have a fear of there being a fire in the middle of the night and me running outside naked for all my neighbors to see. I know I could just stash my robe next to the bed but would freaking out me remember to grab it in an emergency? Probably not.

If this isn't too strange, when did all you nothing people start? I was wearing shorts/t-shirts in my parents' house, and then well into the dorms. I could be nude now, but I don't think my dog would like it!

I love pajamas. Anything from nightgowns to tank tops and shorts to pajama pants. Long sleeves sometimes bother me/make me overheat, so I prefer tanks or loose t-shirts on top.
A long tshirt/sleep shirt. I hate wearing pants when I'm sleeping. Even in the winter, I would rather just bundle up under a ton of blankets than put on something more constricting.
I'm surprised that most of you don't like to wear clothes to bed.
I wear sweatpants and a t shirt and a hoodie to bed. In the summer I sometimes won't wear the hoodie, if the air isn't on.
this is me in the winter!!! dh stays hot and sweaty at all times and the cpap mask has made it 10000000x worse, so he keeps the whole house frosty at night. i have been known to sleep with the hood up.
