I love watching football. I even watch it by myself. But I generally like all sports. I love competition and teamwork and suspense and the feeling of rooting for team. I love the association with the seasons and the history and the lull of an announcers voice. I love how it brings people together and gives strangers something to talk about.
I can't stand college football. My college team was good but not big 10 (JMU). I just don't like watching it and never have.
NFL I love. I will park my butt on the couch on Sundays and anyone who needs me can come find me. Eagles are my team and I haven't missed game in the regular or preseason in something like 6 years.
I completely understand why people don't want to watch it. It took me a while to get to where I'd watch any game. Up until 3 or 4 years ago if it wasn't the Eagles I wasn't watching.
Yup, went to the game yesterday and watched my team with the racist name lose. Heartbreaker but loved it.
That was a good game though. All of our division games were (except the Cowboys but we hate them anyway). I watch division games religiously. I think you guys have a chance.
No. My mom is so disappointed in me. She and my step dad are huge football fans. She's like "what the hell do you guys do in Texas if you don't like sports???" LOL
Meh, I can take it or leave it. If there are bloody Mary's involved or decent food I seem to pay better attention. I love going to college games. I prefer to only watch NFL at home or go invited to a suite. I'm picky I know but if I am going to waste my time I had better be comfortable.

I like going/watching to my local teams games, but other than that it's just background noise lol. We have season tickets, so I kinda have to get into it. I much prefer baseball though. I understand the game better.

I grew up hating it because "girls don't understand football" so no one in my family explained it to me. Then a few years ago DH patiently explained all the rules and answered my questions, so now I do enjoy watching. I prefer college football, it feels like they are playing harder.
I love the NFL. I watch games by myself every Sunday. I grew up watching with my parents and know lots of women who like football. One year my best friend came to visit over the Super Bow and we had sushi and wine and rooted against the Steelers. It was awesome.

I love college football but it is mostly because I was in my college's marching band (Florida State). I learned to enjoy it quite a bit. I don't care for pro football and didn't like football at all before college so nothing is wrong with not liking it.
Depends. I really enjoy watching our college team, especially when they are doing well. Going to the games is a blast. I love the atmosphere of watching it in a bar. I love an excuse to drink beer and eat snacks at noon on a Saturday. It's exciting when they score or there is a turnover or something else major happens.
I don't care about just generally watching football. If it's not "my" team it's not that interesting to me. And I'm not hanging on every single second of the game. Sometimes stuff happens and I'm not sure what certain things mean.
I do now in mid-life. I spent my entire childhood watching my brothers (pee-wee through college players) & never really watched them...lol. I got more into it after going to some Broncos games. I enjoy watching my alma mater when they are winning like this year
I enjoy college and pro football for the social/food aspect only. Football is a way of life here and I do not understand people (my husband) who will sit and watch a game alone. Nope. I want folks and food and conversation in between plays.
omg yes!! I adore NFL games, especially my team and going to games (even though this year is starting very badly for my team we did win the Super Bowl in the last couple years). College ball is interesting but I only watch my team if I'm not doing anything else and they're on tv.
I love football more than DH. So much so that I ordered the NFL Network when we cut the cable cord. I even watch the Hall of Fame ceremonies, get Sports Illustrated and download sports podcasts during the season. I'm addicted (like a guy).
